Hello All, In light of the unfortunate circumstances surrounding Tracey Smith’s resignation as from her role as Fans Representative on the Hibs Board, we felt this would be a good time to review how we operate here. Several of you have mentioned in posts and told us directly that you find...

  3. Sticky Thread Your Scottish Cup story

As I make my way back to sunny Boston I keep thinking about all the people I met and their stories. That leaves about 20,970 stories I've not heard yet. I got an idea. Can you put your story into 500 words or less? Perhaps your story is only 20 words. We're all different. I'm not sure how much...

  1. **Match Updates** 2019-20 season non-Hibs games thread

Figured instead of having a "today's" or "tonight's games" thread being periodically added to every 2 or 3 weeks it'd be best to have one big one per season, starting today with the other two Premiership games. The level of pumping that Rangers deliver to Kilmarnock should provide an indication...

  2. (NHC) Could Hearts be relegated this season?

It's always a possibility, and probably more wishful thinking on my part. Their next two fixtures are against St Johnstone and then Celtic, both at the PBS. Lose both of those and they are in big trouble.

  3. How far can this Hibs team go?

We play some breathtaking stuff at times but still look a bit dodgy at the back (clean sheet will help). What do we reckon? Consolidate top 6 or aim for 3rd? We've just beaten our two biggest challengers for 3rd but need consistency against the Ross County's and Hearts etc

  7. Do we do last minute winners?

I started typing this post so it was about last minute winners against Celtic and teams called Rangers. I had it in mind to say “apart from one goal in 2016 in particular :greengrin...” but realised that wasn’t right, either. Longest 1.5 mins of my life ever. And then I thought about our late...

  8. Why has it not worked out anywhere else for Scott Allan?

When you watch him at Hibs you can’t help but thing that he looks like a ten million pound player who has the sort of vision for a pass that would see him at the top clubs in the top leagues. Yet he never recreated that at Celtic, Dundee or Rotherham. He’s so vital to our team we’ve forgiven him...

  10. Paul Hanlon, more of the same please.

That was his best game in a couple of seasons for me, 2nd half when the game really developed. Read the game well, covered others well, didn't let Cosgrove batter him and threw himself about when required. Keep it up, keep the armband. Edited, I put that first half to back of mind.

  13. Aberdeen - Dirtiest team in the league

As the title says. Some of their tackles have been a disgrace, particularly Vyner & Ferguson in midfield. They aren’t a footballing team, just a bunch of fouling merchants.

  14. Should we rest players in the Celtic game.

This isn't something I would usually advocate, but the pragmatist in me wonders if it wouldn't be a bad idea. We have our 3 toughest fixtures of the season one after the other and even with our best IX on the park the chances of getting anything at Celtic are slim at best. In view of that I...

  27. This is how it feels (Aberdeen 07 12 19)

I think I can confidently say that not many of us saw that coming! At times we rode our luck a bit but to counter that we played some lovely football in spells too. Aberdeen did what they always do in adopting a policy of ‘if you can’t get the man get the ball’ as they fouled their way through...

  30. The Goals Yesterday

The quality of all 3 really shouldn’t be downplayed.. if they were scored by Celtic or teams down south then they’d be salivated over. All 3 were terrific in their own right. The move for Boyle’s **** that was blocked was also word class.

Another lead thrown away. How many points have we now dropped from winning positions? When we're ahead, instead of building on it, we fold like a cheap suit.
