It’s almost an unspoken thing amongst us men and women, but I’m guessing that at some point in time we’re all struggling to lose weight. I started my diet this week after weighing myself. I was 17st and I’m only 5ft8. Shocking stuff, but I’m sure that we can inspire each other to better things.
What's your favourite food that in no way, shape, or form, could be described as gourmet - pot noodles, tinned meatballs, pie on a roll etc... What's yours? Chicken Super Noodles on buttered toast, bacon crisps on a buttered roll (or sandwich), and hot dogs are mine.

I’m on holiday in turkey and there’s a guy that goes around in roller skates taking orders for drinks and handing out ice lollies. I could easygo and order this myself, but it makes me happy when the guy comes round in his roller skates. What are the little things in life that make you happy.
Amarone in George Street was the venue for my niece's graduation dinner. I wasn't overly impressed, then again I never really expected to be if I'm honest. Lows were; Nine out of the ten mains being served together, the tenth person was told "we haven't forgot you,it's just not ready yet" It...

Has anyone got one of these? I’m thinking of buying but there seems to be a large number of different options and I’m not sure which is the best option. I’m thinking of buying this one, not necessarily with Stella. https://www.beerhawk.co.uk/perfectdraft-life-artois-starter-bundle

What’s the craic with the Hydro in relation to mid week gigs? Taking my youngest daughter to see Billie Eilish in June. I’ve looked at trains as I don’t drive but I think there’s a a train at 10.29 meaning we’d end up missing part of the show. Heading back to Edinburgh after. I’ve priced...

I've gone a wee while without listening to much in the way of new music, but there's been a spate of album releases I've wanted to check out lately for one reason or another and I've been pleasantly surprised. Babel - Mumford and Sons: Develops their sound from Sigh No More and really cements...
Waterproof watches. Admin if this is in the wrong place please delete and merge but it's not a peeve as such. Unless you have a need to see the time for whatever reason whilst submerged, why is for example "waterproof to 50 metres" even a selling point? A friend showed me his nice new watch...

They seem to be a great idea but do they really work? Bluetooth has quite a very limited range. Some sellers say that you go on to the "community" to see if someone can track the device. Is that a community for all Bluetooth Trackers or is it a community for each company that's selling...
Following the death of SC, I want to ask the Hibee community their opinion. Mines is Brosnan, but that was probably generational - that and Tomorrow Never Dies is IMO the best Bond film.

I’ve been trying to hire a car for 4 days over the school holidays, pick-up and drop off in North Edinburgh but I’m being quoted £1600 for 4 days, seems absolutely insane. If I pick up in Newcastle and drop off in Edinburgh it’s £400, which makes no sense to me. Tried a few places and struggling...
Took the bus from Corstorphine today to Shandwick Place then walked full length of Princes Street into the St James and then to the foot of the walk.
