It's not just Glasgow that will benefit, I think it's good for the whole of Scotland.

For once, I am chuffed to bits. Glasgow fully deserves it, it will re-generate what is at the moment an absolute warzone area of the city, will bring great benefits to the country as a whole and hopefully will give a positive image of Scotland to the world. Yes I know some of the Nationalist twats would probably rather have a caber-tossing World Cup held here, but the real people (even our new government) would agree this is a great achievement.
