I caught a bit of Barry Robson's interview after Raith Rovers lost to Linlithgow Rose at the weekend and he said he wasn't bothered about the result at all because he had run the players into the ground during the week and they were pretty fatigued, he could have eased off the Thursday and Friday but that would have been counter productive when it was a fitness exercise and it had given him the opportunity to see a few young players and how they coped. I think Gray will be approaching this in the same way. The result is an irrelevance; it's all about match sharpness and minutes in legs. I think the team picked reflects that and we'll see every player in the squad play some part and near enough 11 changes for the upcoming Ajax game.

He’s small, but fast , and scored a ridiculous amount of goals last season, he runs for 90 minutes.

What was wrong with him? Not much to talk about but clearly done his research, full of facts and actually knew what player was what, something even our own club commentators don’t get right!

I thought the commentator was ok tbh. Earned his money trying to make that game even sound semi interesting and had clearly done his homework on hibs and knew his stuff.

Pretty much nothing to read in to that game today.

By the time you get to the Bolton game, I’d expect to get a better idea of how we’re shaping up and see a team that’ll be fairly similar to the team that’ll play in Denmark.

Same goes for Saturday, the two games out there are being played in amongst triple training sessions.

Yeah. Training exercise and a good run out in the heat making it a very useful run. Absolutely nothing to be read into these outings, results, performance, individuals. Just part of pre-season and if nothing else is good for the youngsters to be part of it

People should remember that that was his first playing action since before New Year after recovering from long term injury- he's not going to be firing on all cylinders from the off, is he?

Yep, think he looks a very classy player.

Composed and good range of passing, thought he showed against rangers he’s got the other side to his game too
