Really hope this lad kicks on next season. Very excited by what he can bring to an already successful team.

Was really impressed with him a number of times and just sheer bad luck with that injury.

SDG clearly rates him highly, and so do the club with a huge 4 year contract.

A loan would be best for him in my opinion. Assuming we're sticking to the same shape, he's competing for the 10 position with Campbell, McGrath and potentially Hoilett or another coming in.

Get him playing week in week out at a lower prem, or upper Championship team - Dunfermline perhaps.

I've liked the look of him pretty much any time he has played. Obviously there are parts of his game he can improve, but he looked really bright and positive.

I was surprised he didn't get more game time in the second half of the season, but maybe that's down to the formation we played. He seems best suited to the wide left position in a front 3, from what I've seen of him. If we continue with the 3-5-2 he might be best to go out on loan and get more experience.

Don't think we’ll be loaning him until we’re out of Europe and if we make the group stages he’ll be going nowhere.

Has to be going out on loan unless there’s a need for him due to Europe.

He’s in a difficult place in terms of loan though. Ability wise he’s probably a bottom to mid table Scottish Championship player at this point in time but there’s no point in him going to a team of cloggers struggling at the bottom end of the table, it wouldn’t suit him and he’d learn very little. Not convinced he’d start every week at a side going for the league in the Championship though.

Wonder if Lennon would be interested?

I agree, I think he'll stay involved until we're at least knocked out. After that I'd be loaning him out until January to let him get some good solid game time.

It's difficult to say what should happen next with Molotnikov, any time I've seen him he's been decent, but I'm not sure there's been much progression tbh, even though he's not a bad player by any means, a loan spell would make sense in terms of getting regular game time, maybe like Ayr or Raith that would help him develop what talents he does have on a more regular basis?

Yeah a loan out to a rovers or Dunfermline would be ideal.

I agree with the concept, of keeping all our options open, until the European qualifiers, come to a conclusion.
No need for anyone to go on loan, unless they definitely can’t help our squad, in Europe, I would suspect the transfer window shuts after we have concluded qualifying.
Also if Rocky is leaving, we might ask him to stay for the qualifying, on a short contract, then leave for a another club, this would all depend on if his new club, wanted him playing in Europe for them.
What’s the main problem, with these senarios, and when does the transfer window close.?
I’ve watched a lot of Rudi, and we haven’t yet, seen the best of him, yet, he may surprise a few people next season.

The McIntyre brothers definitely have a chance of making an impact, as squad players next season, especially if our squad get stretched, by injury, or hopefully the amount of games we have to play.

Nice idea, but that won't happen at all.

The window closes Monday the 1st of September after all the qualifying is done and dusted. So we'll know what position we're in when it comes to the last 4/5 days of the window.

still have high hopes for Rudi who if Hoilett does comeback you would say he would be 4th choice behind McGrath, Hoilett and Campbell.

He is useful for the squad registration for Europe and I wouldn't be against a loan move to a lower prem team or I think St Johnstone would be a good move for him.

Just out of interest how many times did he play for us last season?

11 league games. 6 Starts, 5 from the bench.

5 League cup games where he probably performed best in. Which tells me he maybe needs that loan spell still.

Transfer market has him down for 17, so not sure which one.

It’s more than I thought he did in fairness, still think a loan would be more beneficial to him.

He played a lot of league cup games, and I got a few different game amounts, I landed up looking at official hibs page, nonetheless he played a fair few games early season.👍

A few of those games you're quoting were from last season. Not many though.

Thought he did very well against Clydebank in the Scottish Cup too

I’m sure Gray said something about playing him out wide so he would have more space / time on the ball . I don’t think that is enough game time for a young player we are hoping to develop and the likelihood is he will see even less this season especially if Hoilett stays and with McGrath coming in .

Cheers, like most young guys, he needs games, to develop, however I think he could probably play at a good championship team, pushing for promotion, he’s strong and might be already capable, for a team like Raith.

Has to be a loan for him this year IMO. Looked promising against the lower league sides but never contributed much in his league appearances. I don’t think he has much chance of getting the minutes he needs so a good loan to see if he can kick on again is needed.

He was injured the majority of the 2nd part. Then eventually had the surgery - same op as Joe N. Dave doesnt want him out on loan. That may well change once we know what our squad is going to look like.

Even if he hadn’t been injured I don’t think he would have seen a lot of game time with the team doing well , maybe see some as a sub possibly ? .Though when you look at the midfielders on the bench it was either .. Campbell , Manneh and NMW or Hoilett and the last two . Hard to see whose place he would even take on the bench tbf , maybe NMW ? Good wee player but I have a feeling he’s one that we might move on if we can .

He almost certainly wouldn’t have. He was on the bench for plenty games in the second half of the season without getting on. We continued our good form for the period he didn’t get on into the period he was injured, he would almost certainly have continued in the same vein.

He’s a decent young player but I’d be very surprised if he gets significantly more game time next season. He could definitely do with a loan.

With McGrath signed and if Hoilett stays it’s hard to see him getting much game time at all . I know this sounds harsh as I like Rudi and know he’s got the potential to develop into a very good player but at this stage I wouldn’t want to be relying on him just yet which is why I think him going on loan to a championship club makes more sense.

Kind of my thoughts will get less playing time. Would really need to step up significantly to be involved imo. Will be interesting to see how other players on loan get on during preseason such as McIntyres etc
