Yesterday was disappointing in things didn’t go the way we wanted but I think it’s fair to say this Hibs team have done their bit and some . It’s still been a really good season in finishing 3rd and getting European football with the added bonus of watching our neighbours failing in every big game they had .
There’s been quite a few good moments and one was Rocky’s late equaliser against Aberdeen as it sparked something in the team and felt very much like a win too .
We have McGrath signed who is a quality player and I’m exciting to see who we sign this summer . I think there’s a lot to be positive about with Hibs just now .

You're right.
I'll be gutted for a couple of days but will then look back at a great season.

Highlights for me:
Boxing Day fun at the tiny castle.
Home wins over hearts and celtic in the same week was brilliant.
0-2 vs the hun.
Enjoyed (probably too much) the pure rage and tantrum from Barry Ferguson when he was struck by a beach ball after one of the Hibs goals at ER.
The sheep winner in the semi final was pretty good too 👍

It was a blow but I think in a few days most folk will realise it’s been a good season , love the spirit and togetherness this Hibs team has shown us this season , delighted for Gray and his staff too . It’s something to build on which I have no doubts we will …

That 7 days of beating Celtic, United and Them -9 unbelievable points and 3 exciting games
Boxing Day Gayle Force win(d)
Owning the Sheep - especially Christmas away at their midden
Ibrox
Motherwell away to properly kick start that run
Also last Sunday for Hibs Women 👏
Nicky Cadden collecting the beach balls and throwing them back at Paisley when stewards were stopping it happening
Ayr away - great old school night

One of my favourite games of the season was when we won 3-1 at Fir Park, immediately after the 3-3 draw with Aberdeen at ER.
We were fantastic that day and I remember wondering where that dominant, entertaining side had suddenly come from.
Josh Campbell was my personal MOTM.

It was 3-0 and I’m pretty sure Josh Campbell was only a late sub (although he did score right enough).

Anytime Nicky Cadden swung in a cross
Just fantastic delivery that almost always causes a problem.

Yesterday was a blow for us on and off the field and i felt a bit gutted yesterday, it still was a great season to end up finishing 3rd and very unlucky with the draws in the cup and my favourite moments was boxing day the win at rangers which had been a while since we won at ibrox.
The early games in the season we mainly lost due to individual errors and a very poor performing GK, i don't remember being dominated in any of these games outside the old firm.
We now have to make the group stages the hard way in which I'm sure the players will give it everything, expect us to set up the same again next season, will be key to replacing Triantis if he moves elsewhere plus Rocky's future.
Budget might be different now but you would expect the club to have prepared for this scenario and a summer window to look forward to plus we have McGrath to come in with A fully fit Bowie.
He's here!

Those 3 wins in a week were key. Felt like we made a real statement and I was quietly confident we'd cement third after that.

Rocky’s goal against Aberdeen, everyone in my row except me and one old boy had stormed out at 3-2, I was too gutted to move, step up Rocky to give one of the all timer “hug a randomer” moments

Gayle’s goal at Tiny ….quality
Iredale’s screamer past Plooky
Rocky’s equaliser against the Sheep that changed everything
Josh Campbell’s goal versus Celtic was like the parting of the Red Sea
Boyle’s glorious header against the Hun was a thing of beauty
**** the Hearts
Oh! SOL versus them

Best moment ... without a doubt Iredale's screamer to win the derby.
Beating Hearts, Aberdeen, Dundee United and Sevco away and Celtic anywhere is as good as it gets for any Hibs team in the league.
As good a second half to a season as we've had in my time and full credit to the manager, coaches and players for delivering it .... just a shame we didn't get the reward for it we might have, but that wasn't their fault.
As for the season as a whole: Possibly one of the best seasons I can remember in Scotland, there was so much still on the line for most of the clubs in the league with only 5 games to go, even the last day race for the 6th post split spot added something to it. And though it buggered us up it was good for the game to see Celtic's seemingly never ending dominance dented. It's never going to happen in the league, but it shows there's still hope in the cups.
The last day at Easter Road was cracking as well. Brilliant weather and Hibs fans in the south, most folk wearing green and a super atmosphere finishing with SOL at the end. It really showed this club in it's best light and there was nothing about the day that would discourage folk from coming back.
Roll on next season :greengrin

Iredale’s goal in the derby as we were right behind it as we sit in the West Lower, absolute scenes.
Sunshine on Leith afterwards too, just a great day.
I wasn’t at the Boxing Day game but that is up there too 💚
