Dates for next season

So now we know we `ll have European matches on Thursdays 24th and 31st July and 7th and 14th August so our first 2 league matches and first League Cup match ( last 16 ) will be on Sundays ( Monday unlikely ? ) . Hopefully the same for play off round of EL / Conference on 21st and 28th August . Small chance matches could be brought forward to Wednesday or Tuesday though in our case with no neighbour in Europe less likely .
Obviously would have liked guaranteed group matches in Europe but think it will be better for our competitive season to start sooner ( almost all potential opponents in EL 2nd qualifier will be in same situation ) rather than have a month of friendlies .

It’s disappointing that Celtic’s failure today means the team will be in action on 7 August 2025, aged 150 years and 1 day, and the evening after the 150th anniversary dinner. Let’s hope it’s the home leg.

Let’s hope it’s the home leg.I agree especially as we won`t know opponents ( and maybe whether home or away ) till late on 31st July . On positive side , maybe chance to promote history of club in Europe .
