There's been a noticeable shift in philosophy at the club. It's no longer "persevere", but doing what is required to get a result. Hibs are a club who are more than capable of hitting this height on a consistent basis. There's no reason why we can't achieve the same next season. David Gray, the backroom staff and the players deserve huge credit. They've made us hard to beat and clinical on the attack, exactly what we've needed in this league. I believe we'll do relatively well in Europe as well.

Keep it going lads! :flag:

I know there are still some fans who don't get it. But this club has become hard. They're prepared to do whatever it takes to win games or to avoid defeats. We're no longer the push overs of the Scottish Premiership.

The fans have been behind the team with great numbers at home and away - the key now is that we push on.

New CEO?
Big decisions on a few key players?
New signings to add depth and more quality

Fans can continue to buy ST and fill the seats available as ER is a much more enjoyable place these days.

Regardless of any on coming changes. As long as we maintain the same mentality and ethos, we'll grind our way up the table in future seasons.

Now, now, is the time for the Black Knights to finally make an impact at this club. Barring a shock in the cup final we are guaranteed a number of European games next season and what better stage for guys who are a baw hair away from contention for the Bournemouth or Lorient first team squads to come to Hibs.

The fans will back the club by buying season tickets in close to record numbers, if not actual record numbers ... but if you are to keep that momentum you have to put a team on the park able to compete on two fronts and able to at least maintain 3rd place next season. That means not just keeping our best performers from this season, but adding even better quality to them.

That was the mistake we made after the Scottish cup win, we slowly declined and failed to maintain the momentum of fan engagement we had built .... We can't allow that to happen again. This season we have performed a minor miracle ... lets make it a major miracle next season. Do that and the fans will snap up seats at Easter Road.

Miracles are an illusion. The players aren't here through luck or fortune. They've earned it 100%. Regardless of the ownership, the manager, the backroom staff and the players on the pitch. We need to hold on to the importance of the art of the grind. If we want to make it on a consistent basis and get ourselves on the European radar, we have to maintain this mentality. It must flow through the club on a consistent basis.

Hibs as a club has everything it needs to get noticed, but the correct mentality and ethos matters.

Lovely thought but we are always just a result or two away from everyone at the club being incompetent.

As is any other club for that matter. Perspective is important.

I've always been behind the club.

Whatever occurs.

Same. I'm a Hibee through and through. But because i'm a Hibee through and through, I want this club to be the very best that it can be. We have so much potential. We have the right foundations in place to build upon. But the mentality matters. This is something that David Gray understands. But we also need future managers and staff to understand this as well, as David Gray won't be around forever.
