No post game interview after (yet another) defeat and nowhere to be seen - he’s perfect for Hearts. Spent the week saying how much he loves Killie, the chairman, had brekky with him, etc - then becomes a ghost !

Thank god we never ever considered that *****bag 😂

Yup. Just been called out by Tom English on the radio for that.

Big time charlie thinking he’s bigger than Killie and could actually still mange them for two games and then leave to a league rival.

Absolutely ridiculous by both clubs to announce McInnes before the end of the season. Let it run until next Monday then announce. Absolutely no reason whatsoever to be announcing before the end of the season especially when they are due to play Killie. Arrogant beyond belief imo

I don't know why he is hanging about like a bad smell tbh. Their season is done. He should just walk away and let a caretaker oversee the last 2 games. If he wasn't willing to then he should have been put on gardening leave and told to. No good can come off him being in charge for their game on Sunday.

His whole laughing and joking with Boyd about the Hearts job last weekend put me right off him as well. Not a good look at all.

McInnes is a good manager. He has performed consistently with both Aberdeen and Killie .... ok this season not so good as the last, but when it comes to Killie keeping them in the league can be considered, if not success, then at least not failure.

If he has under performed it is his failure in the cups with Aberdeen, where one league cup in 8 years was hardly spectacular.

What the situation is with him and Hearts who knows. All we do know is that Hearts are a complex situation. You have the Foundation of Hearts fan ownership aspect, you have the Anne Budge factor, you have the James Anderson factor, and now you have the Brighton / Jamestown analytics factor.

For a manager who allegedly likes to have a tight control of what goes on that's a whole pile of sometimes conflicting interests and egos for him to contend with ..... it might work for him, but if it doesn't it could fail spectacularly.

Here's hoping :greengrin

Wanted The Rangers job and **** the bed when offered it. Tonight proved (and the pre match press conference) he’s not a leader - delighted he’s going to them, must have passed the “avoid difficult questions and be a narcissist” test on the “analytics 😂 Hearts also proving how classless they are with their negotiation before the end of the season. They’re a match made in heaven, neither have any class or standards.

Arrogant enough to take the press before the match. Cowardly enough to send his assistant out after it because they lost. Would he have done that if they won? No chance.

Should be a good fit for the Gorgie Mob right enough.

Kilmarnock just released a statement saying he won't be in charge for the last game.

A ridiculous situation all round. It's not like when Clarke left for the Scotland job and got a great send off on the back of a great season. This is a guy who has had a crap season and then spent the last week dropping his drawers to Hearts and then 'leaked' the deal himself.

So McInnes now avoiding the game on Sunday.

Has turned into a bit of an unseemly mess. Kilmarnock support not pleased at all with the way the whole thing has been done. McInnes now leaving on poor terms.

McInnes has managed to put himself front of house, even though he has not been appointed. He will enjoy this. Could Hearts have not just approached McInnes on Monday (after the season had ended).

Typical of the Yam creating a news story, during the season (they are the darlings of football media in Scotland given the many reporters/pundits of a Yam persuasion). Clearly timed to deflect what has been a miserable season for them, given the amount of money they have wasted.

Not a great start by the arrogant ones.

43 years to the day since they lost 0-1 at home to Motherwell meaning they stayed down in the first division. If I recall correctly their fans went radge and were throwing coins, darts and all sorts at the players and Wallace Mercer. How we laughed!

Hopefully McInnes is as successful as Tony Ford.
