Hope everyone has a great night but I really don’t understand why these events are held before the end of the season. Why not the night of the rangers game? It does have the potential to disrupt routines.

What routines will it be disrupting on a Sunday evening?

Probably depends on when the club can book out the venue of choice, next weekend might be fully booked, and most of these dos generally take place around this time of year, this is nothing new.

We are hosting it at the stadium this year so I think we have first dibs😂

No big deal that it is tonight though imo. It's always about this time. Players will have holidays and whatever booked as soon as the season ends. The manager will lay down the rules around drinking, curfew etc. I'm sure the players are adult enough to accept that.

Nicky Cadden must be gutted about that, eh? Scored an absolute cracker of an equaliser in injury time that night - only for us to concede and need Rocky’s equaliser minutes later.

His spectacular free kick could have been the defining moment of the season but for us not managing to quite hold on to it for a few minutes longer 😂

Far enough, though, if there was an award for goal against Hibs, I’d give it to Sokler for the overhead kick.

I honestly ****ing love this squad. Going to be so gutted when a few inevitably leave after next weekend.

If I could choose one to keep it would easily be Triantis, sadly, don't think there's a chance he's here next season.

Hope everyone had a class night

We may have to push the boat out a little but I'm quietly confident he'll still be with us next season. The lure of Europe and regular game time with a World Cup looming may just be enough to keep him another year....

Special group!

Been saying for ages we have to do everything we can to keep Rocky. Then I clocked the footwear in that picture. Nowhere near Hibs class, young man!

The World Cup thing is what I'm clinging on to as well.

Surely having Miller, Iredale and (hopefully) Boyle all aiming for the same thing will be a bonus.

Seems like the perfect environment 🤞

Is Nicky Cadden the player who's played the least amount of minutes yet still won player of the season? Would imagine it's pretty rare historically. Maybe myzaine ? But sure he played most games after he came in.

Don’t think Myziane even won it last year. I’m sure it was Obita.

Your correct! I think he didn't get it cause he hadn't played enough games in people's eyes, but pretty certain he played more than Cadden. Would be interesting if there's anyway going back over time.

Just had a look there and Cadden has played more, but not much in it.

Maolida - 20 games - 1532 minutes
Cadden - 30 games - 1759 minutes

Yeah it's very difficult for a January signing to get it, but in hindsight he deserved it. I wonder if the vote just came a little bit too early for him and if it was another week or two later he'd have swept it up at the rate he began scoring once he settled.

Was a great night - and don't think there was any disruption to routines. The players and staff seemed entirely focused on the remaining 2 games. It's quite rare to have no loose cannons in the squad, everyone very professional.
