Six Nations Rugby 2026

Does anyone know for sure the actual fixture dates for six nations 2026?

It’s like it’s all being kept top secret by the competing nations.
I know the competition is being compressed down to six weeks but surely an outline of fixture dates can be released.

I’m interested in Italy v Scotland. Some places online say Feb 1st and some say Feb 7th

Suspect this will get moved to the Other Sports section - but no, the fixtures haven’t yet been officially confirmed, but frustratingly, some unions are acting as if they are - for example, the RFU are selling England hospitality packages.

The rumours are that the fixtures for each weekend are confirmed, but broadcasters are still thrashing out exact timings. I’ve seen Italy v Scotland mentioned a few times for 7 February. I doubt it would be the prior weekend, because that would mean the tournament starting on the last Saturday in January, which has never happened before in the 6 Nations (it has occurred once or twice when 31 January falls to be a Friday and there has been an evening match as the tournament opener).

Long gone are the days when the 5NC fixtures were based on a rolling 5-year rota to fairly spread who played who when, with all matches on Saturdays, so you could plan your away trips years in advance.
I know tv dictates but this delay is two fingers to the fans.

I’ve seen some hospitality deals as you mentioned.
For Italy v Scotland I’ve seen it mentioned for two different dates.
Hard to book flights etc when the date of the match ( even which weekend) is a state secret😂

Why not revert to a trad Saturday date then to avoid the clash? Two days extra recovery for Ireland and France between weekly matches is huge. Thankfully we don't play either of them in the 2nd round of fixtures.
