Been heading that way for a week or two. India cut off water supplies to a region of Pakistan last week which was a huge step.

This one was always a worry. They've both got nukes if I'm not mistaken? Hopefully it doesn't escalate to anything more serious.

From a purely selfish point of view, I'm a bit worried about our holiday to India later in the year. The closest we are going to Kashmir is Delhi with Mumbai and Goa being the other places but just a bit concerned that this might escalate.
Will need to check our insurance as we haven't booked all of it yet so we aren't clear on what happens if we book internal flights after this has all kicked off.

UK is advising against all travel to India. So almost certain that you'll not be covered for anything you've not already booked. But you should be covered to cancel what you already have booked, check that with your insurer obviously.

That's saying just parts of India - parts we aren't going to (unless its cached and I'm just seeing what I saw this morning)

You are correct.
Unless it has changed, I must've misread it.

You'd be forgiven for thinking it had already taken a hit.
