Anyone see the weird Irish bloke selling “Hibs rosary beads” outside the stadium yesterday? As a Christian who attends mass with my catholic wife, I don’t have any real issue with it but it struck me as very odd.

All a bit Celtic for my liking!

Gutted I missed him.

I have a set someone bought me in Lourdes about 20 years ago that have been gathering dust in a drawer for about 19 years and 11 months. Could have done with a companion for them😅

Almost as bad as Tom Cruise and John Travolta flogging the L Ron Hubbard sci-fi out of the back of that VW van on St Clair St. Id like to keep that stuff away from the football personally.

And a few other infiltrations from that lot having a negative affect on Hibs. You can bet your bottom dollar he decided to come along to ER yesterday cos his lot did not have a game.

It's not who we are, but most other clubs have an element in their support pedalling all kinds of stuff which has nothing to do with football or the club itself.

What bothers me most is some of this stuff, flags/banners are quite visible and puts a label on us which does not represent the club accurately.

Sadly it's the society we live in nowadays, with individuals looking for attention and notoriety from the masses.

Think Hearts fans are in more need of Rosary beads as they await the election sorry appointment of their next manager.

This guy was at Celtic Park for our quarter final selling Celtic rosary beads. I commented at the time how ****ing weird that was.

Given that he's doing it here too it's pretty clear he's at it.

There needs to be a scientific study on the deliberately incorrect emphasis street sellers use. Like the classic "Get your HAAATS an' scarves!" or "MATCH proooooo-grAAAMES!".

It is because they sound more distinct above the ambient crowd noise? I certainly remember it years later.

Saw him, thought it was a bit strange, but people were buying them, so maybe he is onto something. Will maybe set up a stall selling kippahs and prayer mats, at the Rangers game, just to show some balance.
