I didn't think that was allowed? What's different about this game, a Saturday 3pm no less...

Were clubs not given 4 fixtures a season or something they could do this for?

According to Hibs PPV site the SPFL have given the club special dispensation so can show the game

Fair enough! :aok:
It's a shame it's not free for ST holders (but can understand why). My wife's out all afternoon so I'll be running after a 2-year-old at various parks and whatnot and would have loved to dip in when I had the chance but not sure it's worth £13, on top of the unused ST, for something I'll potentially barely have time to watch.
Looks like I'll be tracking the action on the bet365 2D pitch again. :greengrin

Im going to miss it so it would have been great for me, but slightly concerned about all the reports im seeing on match day threads about hibs tv dropping out-seems to happen regularly. Is the picture decent enough for viewing on a phone ?

I watch it for some away games via my IPTV subscription.
Apart from last week when the sound and vision were slightly out of sync, I cant remember it missing a beat.
I dont disbelieve people abroad on dropouts, but I suspect its more to do with their internet providers tbqhwy (otherwise how could my hooky one work so well?).

I'm at a point in my life where tbqhwy could be a technical term or you may have dropped a doughnut on your keyboard. :dunno:

I’ve got the international Hibs tv subscription and never have any issues at all. I’d suspect those that are having issues are using IPTV. If you buy the PPV then I’d think you’d be much more likely to get a better service.

The whole of English League One and Two is live on Sky at 3pm also.
Looks as if the usual 3pm Blackout Restrictions have been waived.

I was similarly confused but, I think it is to be quite honest with you.

Agreed. Never had any issues with legit Hibs TV. Although was a bit ropey at the start last week.

The 3pm blackout was well intentioned, but the paradox is that increased media coverage leads to higher attendances, not lower.
This seems to be the lesson across a whole range of sport and entertainment.
