Without doubt the best football results in my lifetime that didn't involve Hibs.

Dundee 2 Heart of Midlothian 0.
A Kidd (2)

I will be raising a glass to that man today.

Be sure and message any Jambos you know!

Alby, as he is called in Oz, has confused Sydney with Melbourne where the POTY presentation took place, but I think we can forgive him for that considering what he did for us😂

Brilliant was so funny hearing how bitter Sandy Clark still was when they met at an awards dinner a few years back. :faf:

Three cheers for the most pleasing moustache in world football.

Only hope that todays anniversary corresponds with Devlin’s Dingwall Disaster.

One of my better decisions to travel from Aberdeen to ER that day - always loved the last game of the season but that one was a bit special !

I love it they are still propagating this myth that Levein had a ‘mystery virus’.
He was in the thomas crapper, hiding.

'Who, way back in August blessed with the second sight of the seventh son of a seventh son could have foreseen that Hearts, on the very last day of the season would be playing for the Championship requiring only one point'🥳

They could still end up in the Championship if they don’t start winning and show a bit more fight 😀

The Hearts V Dundee game should have been scheduled for today not last week😡
Next year it will be AK Day 40

And presumably completely ignoring the fact that St Mirren could have lost 20-0 and it wouldn't have mattered if Hearts had managed even a draw at Dens Park.

The truth of the matter is that, with the title in their own hands, Hearts jambottled it as usual.

You youngsters won't appreciate that every weekend from Christmas onwards it was rammed down our throats how good Hearts were by everyone who had been to a Hearts game in the previous 50 years. Every Monday you went into work to hear how great they had been at the weekend.
It was effing murder.

The media had a massive chugfest all over it.

No one expected Hearts to lose. They were going to win the double.

It was effing brilliant when they lost.

That was probably one of the best afternoons I've ever had at Easter Road as the news filtered through from Dens Park

:agree:

The most boring game you can imagine unfolding in front of us but an incredible noise from the Hibs support.

I remember some of the players looking at us in the East Terrace thinking 'what the hell are they getting so excited about'

I am sure that we cheered when Beedie scored - we would have cheered at the boiling of a kettle.

I was under the tv gantry in the east - coz there were so few at the game the celebration was like a dance at a ceilidh 😁

With 90 minutes to go, all they had to do was not lose. With 45 minutes to go, all they had to do was not lose. With 9 minutes to go... Ah, you get my drift.
