My dad is a lifelong Blackburn fan, and he like me with Hibs has been looking forward to seeing what Rovers would come up with for the 150th. Have to say that's disappointing. Looks like any other blackburn strip.

Surely that's just their home kit that they'll wear most weeks and they'll still release a proper anniversary kit, without sponsor etc to sell to the fans and wear maybe once or twice in the season?

You're spot on mate. Checked their website and they have confirmed there's another commemorative kit coming later on.

I always find that the fakes are fine until they get dirty and need washed, they never seem to get really clean especially if they are lighter in colour.

Get what you pay for.

One wash normally kills it prefer the feel touch and quality of the real thing but for as little as possible

Agreed. Far too busy. It's classic Macron really, adding about 2 or 3 elements that aren't needed which ruin it. If it just had the pattern on the shirt it would be good. If it had the pattern on the shirt and the strip down the middle it would be good. If it had the pattern and the stripe on the sleeve it would be good but trying to force all 3 with a badge and manufacturer logo crammed into the middle as well just makes it a total jumble.

Away is a cracker though.

I genuinely don't know what to make of that. It's what a 3rd kit should be really in that it's a bit off the wall and has a few notable differences from more traditional kits but I'm not sure it's executed as well as it could have been.

Rather than the third top just being what could in reality be an away top, I always feel it should be a bit experimental. I don’t particularly like that Celtic one, but as you say, it’s what a third strip should be imo.
