Aye one of the best.

I remember pitching up at Spartans 20 odd years ago and he was what was termed a 'proper Spartan' in that he had played first team which was then EoS, dropped to the 2nd team which played in the then top amateur league in Scotland and then 3rd team which was then local Edinburgh amateurs. Whole structure of the club has obviously changed massively since then but back in the day that was what a lot of guys did as they got older.

Just a really nice guy and was a decent goalkeeper back in the day into the bargain.
