Having a “discussion” with the Mrs.. told her there was a time at Easter Road when everyone got a free chocolate bar, she tells me it’s nonsense and I’m making it up, they wouldn’t be allowed to because of allergies and things.

Someone help me out here, I’m going back maybe 20 years or something but I swear, the turnstiles were manned at the time and I got given a bar of chocolate on my way through.

Am I talking pish here? 😂

It definitely happened during Mowbray’s time with us . I’m not sure why though.

As I remember it the bar was on our seat but there may have been some getting handed out in the concourse as well.

It happened, and you mentioning it reminded. I also remember when attendances were so low during Williamson last season walking back to the car with my granddad and uncle they were handing out free scotch pies outside the stadium they hadn't sold after a game.

That I do remember. Was it no something like £2 a bag or something crazy like that?
