Hot wings challenge with Yogi vs Ian McCall uploaded earlier.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3c8372bfyg

I know there not for everyone and Some might not like McCall but do enjoy the hot wings shows, 42 seconds in a laughing with McCall on a night out with yogi setting his shirt on fire and Yogi having to put it out with his pint.

I always liked the hot wings challenge but I thought the last few episodes the challenge got lost because of all the chat. Just get the questions done and get those mooths burning 😡

With all the stories we’ve heard of Yogi’s “banter”, he does sound like he was a total tool back in the day.

Not a type of character I’d have had much time for.

The whole open goal line up are complete fools.

Simon Ferry an annoying failed footballer who piggy backs of his ex youth team mates.

Paul Slane is there to agree and suck up Simon Ferry "aye Si".

Kevin Kyle who struggles to string a sentence together that makes sense and is the idiot who accepts being the butt of their 2 jokes.

Andy Halliday is probably the only one who has a decent football brain, but is still a complete rocket of a guy and I struggle to take seriously.

Chavs playing up to the Chavs.

What makes Halliday " a rocket of a guy?"

Always think he comes across pretty well tbh

He seems fine to me too. One of the few on that show that actually has all his brain cells intact

9/10 on the peak Weegie-ness scale. I think it was 11/10
when the Caddens were on. Uncontrollable it was :)

Yeah this one is really bad for what your saying 1hr 45 till the hottest wings.

Was not a bad watch, Yogi story on his dads nickname 😂

McCall reckons Raskin is the best CM in Scotland and says Charlie Miller was a better player than Latapy.

Chavs playing up to the Chavs.I actually dont mind the guys to be honest, its a bit like marmite, you love it or hate it. Slane I actually think can be quite funny, Ferry though talks as if his teeth are glued together as does Kyle, Halliday is actually pretty sound and says it as it is and has often been very complimentary towards hibs/players.

I don't think you can achieve what they have by all being 'fools'. May not be everyone's cup of tea but I find a lot of the criticism aimed at them really snobby.

Si Ferry has improved massively as an interviewer and can be really funny at times- dressing room humour that's probably similar to what you'd find at any club. He's played for Portsmouth, Swindon and Dundee, so although he didn't reach the potential he had I wouldn't say he was a 'failed' player. He's pretty self deprecating and honest about his playing days which I find quite refreshing. What he's done building the podcast up is admirable.

Slane is a dafty but totally harmless and Halliday is actually one of the most insightful Scottish football media pundits out there - not sure how you can't take him seriously?

I’d echo this all.

There is a real dislike toward OpenGoal throughout Scottish football, and I’m not really that bothered to convince people they are wrong.

I enjoy it.

This particular episode has been one of the best I’ve seen.

Pretty much laugh after laugh.

The usual sense of humor/having fun bypass on here.

How dare podcasters have a laugh, young supporters act like teens and don't even begin to start me on a drum at football.

Kinda agree but it’s Si Ferry I change my opinion about the most. Gone back to quite liking him again though. Really like Slaney and Halliday is class, funny guy as well.

The coupon show on a Thursday is their best content. Really enjoy watching that. The earlier show in the week can be hit or miss, just depends who they have on as a guest.

I also like the newer videos where they go into a team for the day and you get to see how they prepare and train etc.

Absolutely excellent content- and would probably change a few views about what people think about guys like Davie Martindale as well.

Just seen a clip from this where Yogi pretends take to take a photo of Ferry and Slane - must be his standard joke as he did exactly the same thing with two guys on my table when I was in Pioneers thanks to HSL earlier in the season.

Agree with this, especially on the coupon show. Derek Ferguson is extremely likeable, his passion for all things football oozes from him and he's not your typical hun. Neither is Halliday either.

Did you try to get on beat the pundit yet mate? Been listening out for you in between all the greetin' jambos that have appeared :greengrin

Aye, big fan of Derek Ferguson as well.

Haha I've not called in yet nah, hoops gone a bit. I’ll definitely give it a go before the end of the season though.

Humour is a very subjective thing. What makes one person laugh makes another cringe

I used to like the show when it was Si Ferry doing the interviews himself. He comes across very personable, put the interviewee at ease and got some great stories.

When they brought in Kyle and Slane it all went a bit laddish and dressing room banter type crap which didn't teally float my boat. However it still has it's moments, depending on the guests.

Each to their own

Not long watched the new one today with Slaney match vlog at St Pauli and a chat with Jackson Irvine.

Doesn't get much footage at the game as he's told not to film, does get hot in the side of the face/neck with I assume a plastic beer cup, does say he's been hospital but not sure if he's on the wind up.

A decent watch, St Pauli's dressing room is something else.

Today's Open Goal has them raving about Tony Bloom and Hearts. Even before they've done a thing, that idiot McFadden is hinting he thinks they'll challenge for the league.

It's as big a Hearts love in as The Terrace podcast and I didn't think that could be possible.

No danger?! 😂

Usually really like the coupon show, looks like I’ll be giving this week a miss. Outrageous take.

About half way through last night, just about to start level 3 wings, will give the rest a watch tonight.

Good watch so far, Allan with the quick answer on who would win between Mowbray's team vs Lennon's who finished 4th, Si mentioning all the names had him thinking and maybe backtracking lol of course he has to say his team would win.

Dylan saying he played his best football at Hibs when injury free which is probably obvious, would probably regret his decision to leave looking back at it now but he seems a nice lad who was a joy to watch for us during that time.
