Smith , Iredale and Nicky Cadden

I know there’s a couple of signings that haven’t went as well as we had hoped but these three players have really been excellent and probably surprised most fans in what they have contributed to the team as well as becoming really important first team players…

I hope I’m right on this in Smith’s previous club was in league two who I don’t he played for , Iredale came from Bolton in league 1 and Nicky Cadden was released when his contract expired from league 1 Barnsley…

Somebody or the recruitment team in general have played a blinder in signing these players and deserve enormous credit.

Jordan Smith was highly rated for a while at Forest, think he was loaned loads though. We tried to get Nicky Cadden a couple of times previously also but you are right, credit is well due to whoever brought them to the club, especially Iredale and Smith. :agree: Cadden is my poty but he was of course known to us. Sure he was brilliant for Barnsley too for a while then got injured.

It's easy for a goalkeeper to lose their way in the game. Smith has been steady for us this season. I hope next season they bring in a number 3 goalkeeper to keep him on his toes. I would sure like to see him and Johnson competing next season for the gloves.

Cadden and Iredale have lead well and is something we lacked at the start of the season was folk who would take responsibility make things happen. They have definitely rubbed off the other players in the team.
