Fiorentina, Nice or Brighton, Vitoria S.C, Twente, Hadjuk Split would be absolutely sensational. If we make it of course.

IF we qualify (and it's far from certain), I'd love it if we played Rapid.

Vienna is amazing, two green and white teams...and I'd finally get the chance to visit their new stadium (only ever been to the Gerhard Hanappi Stadion)

How does it work? Play home and away against a team from each pot and all the results are combined into 1 super table?

Before we even get to this stage (assuming we finish 3rd and Celtic win the cup), we have a play-off in the Europa League, the higher ranked competition. If we win this tie we could have some excellent sides to play, we may be out of our depth. If we fail to win this play-off, we fall into the Conference League competition, with more winable games.

Not home and away against the same team.

AFAIK it's a league system and you will play 6 games, one from each pot. 3 home games/3 away. Finish in the top 16 you are into the knock out phase.

Play one team from each pot either home or away.

The golden rule is not to finish 25th, especially if seemingly cruising to a lofty 24th place by edging past a top-tier Moldovan outfit.

Good practice if you have ambitions of seemingly cruising towards top 6 then falling at the last hurdle.

Aye, the rapid stadium is cracking went there for a game last summer. Train straight to the station. Huge standing bit behind the goals.

One whole stand is corporate tho

Petrocub, the Moldovan club who humiliated the Yam, are a prime example of a domestic champion minnow who manage to get to the Conference League phase.

The UEFA club competitions are manipulated to ensure around 5 or 6 lowly ranked co-efficient nations have representation in the league phase.

This gives all teams (not the Yam, however) the opportunity to win some games and qualify for the latter knock out rounds.

Someone else has posted a different projection.

I’ll hazard a guess they produce these to try and get folk like me to engage with it.

It’ll continually change week on week as teams change positions in their respective leagues.

I'd imagine our summer transfer business hinges on A) us finishing 3rd and B) Celtic winning the Scottish

If we have guaranteed euro football. Will The Gordon's/Foley push the boat out? A decent draw in that europa Qualifier could see us in there. Is there a huge monetary difference between the 2 leagues? Or would we be better off in the conference and aiming to progress?

Had a quick check and the money for wins/draws doesn't seem much different but league stage qualification in the Europa League this season earned £3.6m just for getting there

Lots of football still to be played. Aberdeen away next is the proverbial 6 pointer. A win and it would be all but done, lose and back level and it's game on for 3rd.
One of Aberdeen or Hearts are going to be a game away from the Group stages regardless. Celtic massive favourites but will be a nervous watch IF we finish 3rd.
Not looking out the Atlas yet

You also play 8 group games in the Europa and only 6 in the Conference.

Personally I'd settle for any group stage football.

Have to think this match will suit us. Away from home with the home team having to win will play into our hands IMO.

Different on the newer one posted, but on that original one, I recognise way more of the teams in pot 6 than pot 5!
