It's 3rd top Hibernian FC against 2nd bottom placed Dundee tomorrow at Easter Road, and I can't wait to see the Hibees play. The Hibees are now 16 league games unbeaten having beaten Motherwell (twice), Ross County, Aberdeen (twice), Hearts (twice), Kilmarnock, Celtic, St Johnstone, Dundee United and The Rangers during this fantastic run. That's nine out of eleven SPFL teams that we've beaten this league season. The question to ask is have the Hibees ever beaten every top flight team in a single league season.

We've still to beat Dundee this season. Hibernian remain unbeaten in their last 15 top-flight home games against Dundee (W8 D7), but I'm being greedy. I want a win. That said, it will be another challenging game against a team that we've struggled against, but also have oscillated from being terrible (losing six nil to Hearts and Celtic) to recently some good performances (beating both Dundee United (twice) and St. Mirren).

Let's keep the positivity flowing as the Hibees run out onto the pitch in front of a packed Easter Road. I expect the positive results to continue and I'll be disappointed if we don't win.

Back at home is important.

Haven’t lost at home in 5 months and with a large Hibs support fully behind the team I really feel that could be the 12th man to help the team to another 3 points.

The boys should be confident after Ibrox - we are 3rd in the league for a reason - we have brilliant players all over the pitch and we can win games in many different ways.

Dundee won’t make it easy but we should have hunger to win this one for 3rd and since we haven’t beaten Dundee yet and the last game was a horror show against them after leading 1-0 we chucked that away.

Pressure is on Dundee as they need the points to stay up - we need the points for Europe.

Over to you Hibs - let’s make history and equal the record !

Any Hibs fan that's not feeling positive after today's hilarious antics in Motherwell and Paisley is, I fear, beyond help.

Tough game, but we'll get it done. There's history to be made :flag:

One of my favourite threads.:greengrin

Going to be a tough game but there is a togetherness and spirit about this squad that I haven’t seen in one for ages . Dundee have lost plenty of goals this season and I think we will win 2-1 and keep the momentum going…

Delighted as always to see this thread

Another in a line of endless big games, especially with United winning and the change of Aberdeen picking up points against rangers

Won’t be an easy game that’s for sure

Not beat them in the league this year and got pumped 4-1 last time, hopefully get some revenge!

Cmon the Hibees!

It would be quite fitting to round off before the split by beating them and also equal the club record from 1948 tomorrow. That 4-1 game was pretty dark. SDG must have travelled back from that match wondering if he would be in charge for the next game...It's been all uphill since then.

Tomorrow is absolutely massive. It feels like we have been saying that every week but tomorrow feels like the biggest one yet. With Aberdeen to play the Huns earlier in the day, we have a real chance to either put daylight between us and the rest or reclaim 3rd spot.

I can’t make it because of the fixture change and will be in the airport trying to get a stream. I believe Hibs will do it but it’s going to be a tough game.

Cmon SDG and the boys! 💚

I love seeing posters say we have brilliant players (and I agree). It's felt like for too long it was "x isn't good enough" and season after season of refreshes and clear outs. It's even more enjoyable that we have existing players meeting their potential, latest being Levitt.

Great time to be a Hibee

If we cancel out Simon Murray, I think we’ll win hands down.

We have six games to go, not just one, before we achieve our end position. Great thing is, it’s not what hearts have ahead of them.. seventh at best.

We have six games now .. tomorrow is first of them .. but whatever happens tomorrow, we are always challenging for third place, and for Europe. So .. jambos who are kicking about secretly here .. well … you know, eh?

Tomorrow is a bad day to be a jambo. Not only are they officially bottom six but they need a Hibs win to keep Dundee from being within 3 points of them.

If we lose (we won't) Hearts are properly dragged in to a relegation playoff dogfight.

.. and/or, we win hands down if they don’t cancel out the various forwards we play over the 90mins.

He's here!

Stay focused and we can take another three points, ending the pre-split fixtures 13 points better off than the yams.

Home games are crucial now - I know it’s obvious but need to get as much as we can from every one of them.

Ridiculous as it may seem,my biggest concern is that every time the Poppy Pilferers have a dire result and we revel in it , then when we play the next day we seem to fall flat on our faces too - vice versa applies - I’m just praying that we don’t end up with the old egg on our faces. 🤞🙏🤞🙏

Great anticipation from all Hibs fans for the game later today, the good thing recently is before matches we know the players will give it everything and fight for the ball.

The St Johnstone game the other week was one of our best performances at home in a long time(going to be a tougher game today I think though)

Boyle will be hungry for a goal or two and looking forward to seeing the partnership of Levitt and Triantis again.

A home game against Dundee and I am absolutely buzzing, not far off the feeling I get on Derby day. Win, lose or draw today how good is it to have a team that gives us this sense of anticipation on match day?

Despite being 2nd bottom of the league, Dundee are, incredibly, equal third in number of goals scored (alongside Hibs)

Hibs do better against teams that don't just sit in and hope for a draw, so hopefully they don't just sit back today. They're in a precarious league position and desperately need the points so it should be an entertaining game.
