Can’t wait for part two of the exciting double header at Tynecastle.

Clean sheet, too. Keep an eye on them, I think they might be going places.

Jair Tavares to relegate Critchley

Quite impressed at that from Hearts today. Looked pretty comfortable keeping Motherwell behind them in their quest for that all important 7th place. Dressing room probably still bouncing!

In the battle for 7th I’m thinking Critiches team talks could be the difference

Its a good outcome for our bungalow dwelling neighbours with identity. Now 6 points clear of Dundee in the playoff position, they are surely way too good to go down. A repeat of 1986 Dens Park bottlecrashing is now almost impossible

I think, unfortunately, this means they’ll now ditch Critch. If they lose to A/deen I think he’s gone

Agree was kind of hoping Motherwell would sneak in top 6 as thought they were genuinely terrible with Hearts just slightly better

Critchley just said its no a bad point on the road. 🤣🤣🤣

I heard him say that too, mental.

Obviously there’s a bit context and he did qualify by saying that he knew that wasn’t enough today but in normal circumstances it would have been a good result.

Just shows you that he doesn’t get Scottish football though, Hibs or hearts managing to get a draw at Motherwell in a game you needed to win should never be referred too as a good point. Shame as he seems like a nice enough bloke (if a bit boring)

Best result for us, as it gives us the chance to finally beat Dundee tomorrow and St. Mirren whenever this season. We will then, have beat every team in the league. When was the last time we did that?

Not in my time supporting Hibs anyway. No idea if it was ever done before that (b 1967)

Hearts certainly had a heavy-weight front line towards the end of the game, I think their new striker, Craig Halkett will go far in the game.....

He'll go as far as Ayr United away in the playoff when Critchball sees hearts finish 11th😂

Lawrence 'Beavis and butthead' Shankland is never gonna score!

Just watched the highlights on Sportscene. If I were a Jambo I'd really not want him playing again for my club, looked really uninterested. His attempts when his shot went 100 feet over the bar and the one when he almost hit the corner flag with a hi**** shot from inside the box were as embarrassing as his over weight physique. How he remains to be their captain is laughable and bemusing.

I think they’ll beat Aberdeen but take a roasting from Celtic in the final.

They'd take a roasting from Celtc in the Final, no doubt. Nobody is stopping Celtc from winning the treble this season, but don't see Hertz winning the semi.

The sheep aren't great, but Critcheley can't win the big games and his record against the top 6 sides is atrocious. I'm confident the Sheep can take care of them.

Unfortunately Critchley will be gone soon enough.

The bloom super computer has picked well so far. Critchley, The 2 south Americans. Even Kabangu has went off the boil

I heard the account they got was the “GorgieAnalytica (lite)” version.

I suppose their problem they have starts with the (mistaken) premise that teams using the software try to play football.

The cup final is Saturday may 24th, and the playoff 2 legged final ties are on the preceding Thursday and following Monday, so id say theyd have to move it.

Ideally youd have Hampden heartbreak on the Saturday followed by relegation confirmation at somewhere like the Tony Macaroni stadium the following week.

Seems to says all the wrong things in his interviews at times that you don't want to hear as a fan. Describing the game yesterday as a big game the type we all want to be involved in before playing out a nothing 0-0 was a big mistake :greengrin

I think we're being overly harsh on the software.

The Jamestown Analytica software is incredibly good at identifying the right players for whichever club has access to the software. In Brighton's case, that's the right players for a club that wants to be in the top half of the English Premiership so it provides potential superstars. In Hearts' case, that's the right players for a club that naturally belongs in the Scottish Championship so it provides obvious donkeys.

Why because a club of their means make the top 6 and possibly Europe.

You seem to have a problem with taking the piss out of our Jambo chums.

What's embarrassing is not making the top six when your fans have thrown millions into their clubs coffers. Certainly nothing embarrassing about St Mirren punching above their weight.

So whats the problem with that ? St Mirren are a small club by all accounts who dont get big gates week in and week out so I totally get they will grab an extra few bob for getting into the top 6, thats their reward earned isnt it ?

So its not embarrassing then because they deserved it and have earned the extra money going into their coffers ?

Yes but mainly the old firm

St Mirren have been hard line at limiting visiting OF fans tickets, and have made up the deficit by attracting more of their own fans to both OF and non OF games. They're a well run club, and the only side outside the OF who have finished top six three seasons running.

Is It On....

Reminded me of Monty a wee bit if I am honest on his description about nearly getting in the Top 6...that seems a different word ago 🙂
