Does this mean we now have 3 home games instead of two post split? We have already played st mirren away twice this season?

PS F*** the Hearts :greengrin

Think it definitely throws a spanner in the works for ideal home/away splits for a few teams.

One of the boffins will tell us

But I’m sure United have had 17 home games as it stand also like Hibs will have

I’m not sure on Aberdeen

I think St Mirren have had 17 home games too. We've only played them once at ER so...

The cup they haven’t won for about million years.

We they not singing Hibs are falling apart again after the 1-1 draw at ER this season?

This Hearts side is full of small, gutless, weak cowardly players. And long may it continue.

Where did they finish under Cathro? Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me but I seem to remember a lap of honour when Cathro came onto the pitch to take applause and he had to run back down the tunnel when the residents went mental at the sight of him 😂😂

All Hearts had to do today was beat injury hit Motherwell and they had top six football secured.

So, as usual, Hearts jambottled it.

There’s a fair bit of cash difference between top 6 and 7th at best
Last season these were the payments
3rd £2.78m
4th £2.44m
5th £2.27m
6th £2.1m

And then the gap
7th £1.93m
8th £1.85m

So the difference in cash if we can get 3rd is almost £800k v 7th. We’ll also get almost 2 full houses which will take our potential earning to over £1m v Hearts this season

GreenCastle

They will sell Shankland for £5 million…

Oh wait..he’s leaving for free..if any team wants a player who can’t even get a game for a bottom 6 club.

I just asked ChatGPT to create a poem about Hearts failing to get into the top 6. Here’s what it came up with: :faf:

In Gorgie’s streets where echoes wail,
A crimson tide begins to pale,
The faithful chant through wind and rain,
But Hearts are falling apart again.

The Merricks stood with hopes held high,
Dreaming of Europe, of touching sky,
But as spring arrived with bitter sting,
The league table told a crueler thing.

A derby loss, a slip, a draw,
The Jambos cursed what they just saw,
Top six dreams now blown away,
Like echoes fading from Tynecastle Bay.

McKinlay’s rage, a midfield gap,
Strikers lost in offside traps,
Defenders flailed, the shape was gone,
And yet the Merricks still marched on.

Through banter, jibes, and rival roars,
They hold their scarves, their club adored,
But pain sits deep beneath their skin—
Hearts are falling apart again.

No silver lining, no cup run,
Just chants of “next year” yet again begun,
But still they come, through grief and strain,
Because hope, like Hearts, remains in vain.

Hilariously “Critchley GTF chants” and Kickback reckons they should go for Sean Dyche or Chris Hughton as their next manager.

The delusion is quite something.

Ancelotti might be out of a job if Real Madrid don't win something this season. Surely he couldn't resist the allure of Gorgie and Hearts loyal, very real 400k supporters?
