When will we know which games have been chosen for TV?

I want to book my train tickets asap but I need to know the kick off times first.

My understanding is that they'll get released at the same time as the fixtures, I would expect that to be next Monday.

Guaranteed at least one of our home fixtures will be a lunchtime KO as the aperitif to some poxy mid table EPL game. :grr:

Not to mention that being a stick on for the derby as well if Hearts make the top 6.

Games will already have the tv ones marked. Not even the SFA are stupid enough to release them all showing 3pm then have to change them a few days later...:agree:

Can’t see it myself.

They will be in no rush to announce them as the first fixtures won’t be until 26th

TV companies will be consulted and their fixtures selected before they are released.

The first issue they face is scheduling the old firm match as they won’t want Celtic clinching the league at Ibrox

Don't know why they can't sort out the Old Firm date now and just announce it after the games are completed.

Fixtures won’t be announced till a week on Tuesday. Scottish cup weekend in between and they’re never in any rush. Fans don’t matter.its the TV companies that are important.

This. Which is why I said if hearts won yesterday they would release the fixture this week. I got told that's not the case but not sure why. Gives fans more time

From a selfish point of of view I would like that to be Aberdeen on TV as I can't go up there.

The midweek is the 3rd last game, wouldn’t surprise me if Aberdeen is the last one, 12.30 on Saturday 17th May

Points post-split (top 6 only), all seasons:
2000-01: 5
2004-05: 5
2005-06: 4
2006-07: 5
2007-08: 2
2008-09: 5
2009-10: 4
2017-18: 8
2018-19: 2
2020-21: 7
2022-23: 8

Think we'll need at least 7 to secure 3rd.

No guarantee the derby being on TV, didn't one last season get bumped so Sky could show St. Johnstone v Livi or something guff like that

All last top 6 games are on the Sunday and at the same time. Just incase the league will still on come the last day of the season.

Final top six games have been confirmed for the Saturday at half 12. Bottom six is Sunday.

Our last game before the split last season, a 1-1 draw at Motherwell, was on Sat 13th April, the split fixtures were out on Tue 16th April.

Don't know why they can't sort out the Old Firm date now and just announce it after the games are completed.

Celtic can potentially still win their league pre split, so can’t be MD 34 as it’ll either be “no guard of honour” or Celtic win the league, can’t be MD 35 as that could be the guard of honour, can’t be MD 38 as that’ll be trophy day at park head and the game is at Ibrox. Leaves either MD 36 or 37, I’m sure one of them is a mid week so leaves the other.

Job done.

If the league schedule Hearts v Celtic as first game after the split then you imagine that will be on TV if Celtic need to win to win the title meaning the Derby might not be on TV.

If Hearts qualify for the top 6 it will mean Celtic are due 1 home game and 4 away (making 18 home & 20 away) and Rangers are due 4 home games and only 1 away game (making 20 home & 18 away) - Hearts will probably have to switch games against them to play Celtic away for a 3rd time and Rangers at home for a 3rd time as they will have nothing to play for after the split.

yes

the derby is a protected fixture so each club gets the 2 each ground if teams are in the same 6

I'm sure we had to go to the PBS three times in the same season. Probably wrong though lol.
