This amazing run we are 15 unbeaten in the leauge Will it attract more young people to support our club. I remember when my Dad took me to ER for the first time v Motherwell circa Jan3rd 1959, I was 9 years of age and 3 days before we had beaten Hearts at Tynecastle 1-3 that was the result that made me love the Hibees.

My first game was a 1-0 hibs win against Motherwell in the skol cup. I wasn't all that into football and barely paid attention to the game, save looking up to see Tommy McIntyre score the winner.
Something stuck though. Followed hibs from the armchair before getting a season ticket for Bobby Williamson's hibs!
Some things appeal to the young ones. Bringing through our own youngsters in Riordan and O'connor seemed to resonate at the time. In later years I'm sure I saw kids going to the game wearing an Elias Melkersen style headband.
I feel if we point the youngsters in the right direction they find their way to support. I mean..... Elias Melkersen?

My 5 year old daughter has been wanting to go for ages, so I got her a ticket to the Dundee game for her first ever game. I was going to take her to see the ladies team as a gentler first experience, but the great run of form changed my mind that I’d expose her to a positive atmosphere.
Not sure she’ll last the full 90, but we’ll see how it goes.
