They are really on a final phase 1 game tightrope now
Two sides could jump them. They need to win

I think it’s entirely possible that the hertz fans will be much happier in the bottom 6 purely for the fact that Critchley doesn’t really do “ Big games “ …
Since he’s came in , eleven games he’s had against the teams above him and he’s won 1 , drawn 3 and lost 7 . Not a lot to like about that record …

Hoping they've got plenty extra toilet paper in the away changing room at Fir Park and Motherwell have a wee sub with a big moustache and a mullet.

The funny thing is that after the sending off for most of that game you would have thought it was Dundee Utd who were down to 10 men, apart from the goal they didn't really trouble Gordon that much and they let Hearts get the ball into their box far more than they should have been able to.

Dundee Utd look terrible any time I see them. Quite bizarre they are just 3 points behind us. I suppose unlike ourselves and Aberdeen they’ve not had a prolonged period of being absolutely abysmal at any stage which may explain it. They were getting hammered today until the red card

I’m still full of confidence that it’s between us and Aberdeen for 3rd & 4th.
Getting the 3 points against United at home post split is huge for us and would go pretty close to sealing 3rd of this weekend goes to plan.

Exactly my thoughts, how they are in that position is a real head scratcher as they look very poor.

The middle sentence is the only reason.
I’m pretty sure we were bottom or thereabouts after 14/15 games, whilst Aberdeen went at least 10 games without a win. We have both been really good outwith those spells which for any other team suffering such a poor spell, would have them way down the bottom.
United have simply been consistently okay which won’t be enough to keep up with us and Aberdeen on current form.

Sure they've had a fair few defeats through there over the years. My concern is actually St.Mirren.
I think they'll comfortably beat County and if word gets through that they are 2 or 3 goals up then Motherwell could lose heart as St.Mirrens goal difference is miles better than Motherwells.

Exactly why he shouldn't be anywhere near a press pass at Easter Road.
He allows his prejudices and sympathies to dictate his writings and broadcasting.
He may think he's impartial, and might even be attempting to be more so, but his output just constantly fails to separate between that of a fan and a neutral observer.

My two favourite sports are football & Critchball
This Saturday I'll be watching Critchball, which usually involves Hearts chucking it when the games start to mean something. After Petrocub, plus home&away derbies, my review of Critchball is 5 stars, would recommend.
Then on Sunday it's back to proper football, with Hibs v Dundee following Aberdeen v Rangers.
He allows his prejudices and sympathies to dictate his writings and broadcasting.
He may think he's impartial....
Doubt it. The coverage of Hearts on the BBC outlets is too consistently bias for it not to be conscious.
Yogi saying he wanted Hearts to get beat in some match earlier in the season and Richard Gordon claiming he would be upsetting "half of Scotland", can't be a serious attempt at showing a non-biased outlook.

No starting a new thread, but see they’ve just announced a RB for next season
‘We are delighted to confirm that Valerenga captain Christian Borchgrevink will join the club this summer.
The Norwegian right-back has signed a 3-year contract and will make the move to Tynecastle Park for an undisclosed fee once the transfer window opens in June’
25 year old €550k market value on Transfermarkt. Been out injured since Feb apparently.
I am not convinced they have the bottle to win on Saturday and see it out.
Motherwell may well be bang average but they have a wee chance to grab top 6 or face a relegation play off fight. I think St Mirren will win at home so Hearts will need the win. Could be hilarious.

We’ve nothing to worry about either way. Can’t wait til Sunday. My son is coming along to his second match … he took his time, but he’s learning what Hibs is at last lol😁✅
It’s noticeable they and the media don’t go on about the ‘analytics’ given the almost hourly obsession they all had. They have had a transfer window and they still look like a squad devoid of pace, width, creativity and a right back!
