Does anyone else have a daft superstition?

I started wearing a black pair of underpants with a green elastic waist every time we play, from around the time our form made this huge turnaround.

I cant swear on it being the Aberdeen game, but it was definetly around that time, maybe the week after.

Hopefully they work again next week, and the week after................:greengrin

Lucky boxers/briefs is a pretty common one I think. I've had some success with that strategy in the past. Also socks. And I used to avoid wearing any item of clothing which shared a similar colour to our opponents that day. Most success I ever had was drinking a cup of tea from my Hibs mug on the morning of the game.

Sadly these lucky items all have a limited shelf life.

As I am unable to attend games these days I used to like keeping up with live scores either on Sky or other media. After losing so many goals in the closing minutes earlier in the season I now have a TV/radio/internet blackout for 2 hours for the duration of each game. Since doing this we haven't lost a league game and only a couple of late goals against.

The same Hibs trackie, Hibs training top, jeans, trainers, Hibs boxers, Hibs socks and additional green black socks has not let us down since Boxing Day. I genuinely think I've played a big part in this.

I started to put insurance bets on against us at the start of the run in case we lost as I always felt we had to lose at some point. I’m now a bit worried that our good run is entirely dependent upon me being really ***** at betting. Every week I tell myself not to be ridiculous but as we get closer to kick off I panic if I don’t get a bet on and we lose it’ll be my fault.

I’m talking wee £5 bets so nothing bank breaking. Basically feel like it’s just an extra £5 a week I’m paying in insurance to support Hibs.
