Watching all our goals this season so far I picked out my favourite seven and put them in order I rated them…
1 .. Iredale’s winner against hertz at ER , just a truly stunning finish.
2.. Gayles winner at tiny , really good move and lovely finish from Gayle . It was a close call for me between this one and Iredale’s as the best.
3.. Nicky Cadden free kick against Aberdeen . What a finish ! .
4.. Boyles goal against hertz . Boyle beats his man for pace and good finish under a bit of pressure.
5.. Being a Campbell fan I had to have one of his goals in my seven , really good move with us cutting through Celtic like butter and a composed finish from Josh .
6.. There is better quality goals than this scored this season but I don’t think there’s been a more important one scored than the one against Aberdeen , from feeling dejected and thinking we were beat and even though it was an equaliser it really felt like a victory and started something special.
7.. Again there’s probably better goals than this but from going 2-0 down to fighting back to 2-2 against Sevco and then only to go behind again . This game like the Aberdeen one felt like a victory and a real rollercoaster of a game too ..
That’s my seven . Anyone got them in a different order or a couple of different goals in their favourite seven this season so far ?

Big Mikes goal against Celtic in the league cup was an absolute cracker.
Didn’t count for anything in the end so you’re probably right to leave it out but if you are judging it purely on the merits of technique then it’s right up there I think.

Bowie’s finish at Tannadice got his shot away right away never gave the Goalie a chance not forgetting Hoilett’s composed finish when all about were claiming for offside

Am I missing something or what is your 6th and 7th? I'm assuming one is Bushiri against Aberdeen?

Can't disagree with any of them.
Josh Campbells goal against Motherwell was one of mines as well.
Rocky's 3 goals this season have been my favourites, the Aberdeen one especially as I was there, head in hands thinking we'd ****ed it up again and we'd be sacking Gray. What a catalyst for the season that goal has proven to be.

Yeah it suddenly turns into a quiz – I think 6 is Rocky vs Aberdeen and 7 is Rocky vs Rangers

It's certainly hard to pick between Gayle's derby winner and Iredale's.
I'm opting for Gayle's, largely because it was at Tynecastle which lends it an extra layer of satisfaction but also because the quality of the finish. Just a beautiful touch and really, really intelligent play to get himself into position to apply it. It's a close-run thing though, because Iredale's finish was also terrific and the way it crashed into the net had that beautiful 'get that right up ye' feel to it.

Killed the game off , great work from Gayle and good finish from Josh .. good shout J .
One I liked too was Boyles goal against the huns when Rocky got an assist …
So many good Hibs goals this season so far and hopefully they keep coming .

The away end erupted that night. What a finish, out of nowhere when the game seemed to be fizzling out.

It won't win goal of the season and I won't complain when Iredale takes his award in a few months time, but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that despite everything since it's that Rocky goal that is the one that kick started everything and why we are where we are today. It was the first time in nearly 2 months we came away from a game feeling like something positive had happened, and although we never actually won it almost felt like a victory. Credit to SDG for channelling that boost into something positive and building on it.
So basically, thank you Rocky Bushiri x

From a fans perspective there was certainly a right good feel factor after it and lord only knows what it did for the team. It certainly sparked something off and long may it continue . A goal that wasn’t a classic by any means but one that won’t be forgotten either…

Also crazy to think over 4 months later the only defeats we have suffered have been at Celtic Park.
My favourite has to be Iredale winner, hit it as sweet as a nut.

Josh Campbell’s well placed goal versus Celtic was a thing of beauty Nectar’s defence splitting pass was like the parting of the Red Sea and the ball was in the net before the Celtic defence could see what was happening
The view from behind Iredale as Shankenheid backed off giving him the time and space to dispatch a low curling drive into Plooky’s bottom left hand corner is a moment that will live with me forever

Bit of a shame for Hoilett to be competing against Iredales goal, two beauties.

Cracking finish from Hoilett alright and on most occasions it would likely be our goal of the month.
