Hi, I'm a fan member of the Hibernian Historical Trust. We are doing a bucket collection before the St. Johnstone match on the 29th which I am organising.
We are a small group so aren't able to all areas round the stadium and are in need of some volunteers to help us.
The funds raised would help continue the work of the Historical Trust. We aim to preserve, protect and celebrate our wonderful club (men's and women's).
We rely on donations to acquire artifacts and ensure everything we are loaned or given is preserved for future generations to see them in their original condition, or as near to that as we can get to original. Everything has to be stored or displayed in the right conditions to ensure they remain in the same condition.
Some of the artifacts are on display throughout the stadium (If you've been in the new suites in the Famous Five stand you may have seen some of the newer displays) or taken to events and we have plans to expand our work. In the past we have also organised the open day as part of the Leith Festival.
All this comes at a cost, and to continue this we need to raise some money.
I was hoping there may be some people on here who would be willing and able to shake a bucket before the match against St. Johnstone to help us raise funds for this work.
If you are interested, please add a comment below, or send me a private message and I'll get back to you.
Thanks
