I wouldn't have put 10p I found in the street on an out of sorts Dundee winning at Tannadice yesterday .... instead they win 4 - 2 with two goals disallowed as well.

Then you have two clubs, us and the Yams, who had the worst starts possible still fighting it out for 3rd, with the club who looked a stick on for it fighting to hold onto 4th place ... even relegation or who ends up in the playoff isn't certain with a mere 8 games to go

Said it before, if you pretend the Uglies don't exist apart from winning the odd bonus points from them as we did a few weeks ago, it's a pretty exciting league. We must have had about 10 'must win, or at least don't lose' games this season .... with more to come :greengrin

Every league game this season has felt like a big game. First because we needed wins to get out of trouble. Then because there was an opportunity to get in to a decent position. And now because we want to stay there.

On Dundee Utd, they’ve lost 8 in 11. They looked dreadful yesterday.

United are on the way out. The form teams are us and Hearts and that's who I expect to finish 3rd and 4th.

Think this game the Dundee derby should be a wake up call that the two remaining home games will be tough

Assuming Hearts lose at Celtic next time out, they could find still themselves going down to the wire for a top six spot. I'd love to see Motherwell pip them to it.

Hearts are fighting for top six never mind third 👍

Us and the sheep to fight it out for third imo

I know everyone else has hard games to come as well but a win in the next round of fixtures and presumably a defeat for Hearts will see us become very difficult for Hearts to catch. We’d both have 7 games left, 2 of which for both of us would be against the Old Firm so realistically it would likely give them 5 games to pick up 8 points more than us. It’s highly unlikely.

We'd have three OF games. We've still to go to Hunbrox before the split.
