Hi folks, looks like I’m going to be one of the few not going to the game on Sunday as I’m off to Belfast for the weekend.

Any recommendations for somewhere to watch the game? Not sure how dodgy some places will be with either rangers or Celtic fans no exactly being fond of us 😂

If it makes a difference we are going to the Ivy for lunch just before it so ideally somewhere near there but I think that’s pretty central.

The Ivy is about as central as it gets and most pubs in the city centre have a strict policy of not showing scottish football... for good reason.

West Belfast is still your best bet and yes you'll be surrounded by Celtic fans so keep your head if we score! To be honest I've often had a pint in Felons and worn my Hibs top and had absolutely no problems, in fact a lot of them have been complimentary to us, but I've never done it when we've been playing celtic.

Ah FFS.

Bit of a long shot but do you know if there’s a bar at the airport that’ll show it? We will be heading back to the airport right after the game so might just suggest that we go there early, just to beat the crowds of course 😜

No chance in the airport I'm afraid.

There's a few places on castle street in central Belfast which might show it. I'll give them a phone this afternoon and get back to you.

I watched a derby in a bar in the Botanics area as good few years ago now. Can’t remember the name but if there appears to be a policy of reluctance to showing Rangers or Celtic games in city centre the place might not show them any more!

The Shankhill Rangers Supporters Club will be showing it. Just say Big Dessie said it was ok to come in.

I remember watching the Horgan Derby at Tynie in a pub on the Lisburn Road... definitely not a place you would normally expect to get scottish football, but I chanced my arm and I think the barman was new and he put it on for me. Can happen!

I watched the first derby of the season at a bar called Nancy Mulligans on Castle Street, about 5 mins walk from The Ivy.

It is Celtic pub with photos of Bobby Sands on the wall so no idea what it will be like. They were all very pleasant but could be a different story when playing their team, especially if Hibs pull off a shock.

Bingo

Nancy Mulligans are definitely showing it. Castle Street a few minutes walk from the Ivy.

The Hercules Bar is on the same street, I've asked them too and they said its 'likely' they'll be showing it.

Thanks very much to you and everyone else for their responses, much appreciated.

Think I’ll head to Nancy Mulligans and hope for the best.
