I thought they were great today. Loved the banner and display. They also started and joined in with a lot of the traditional songs.

I’ve been critical previously, but today they did a great job of adding to / driving the atmosphere. Hopefully they’ve learned it’s much better to do things which can include the whole stadium/not try and drown out any other sections trying to get it going.

Display was brilliant.

The flags looked good and the message was heartfelt and simple.

Good work from them.

Was the message a quote. It didn't seem particular to Hibs so a bit odd as far as I was concerned. I'm presuming quote due to the grammar - Our City and Colours Mean the World To Me.

Good atmosphere all around the ground today particularly at the end. I wish the three stands were as vocal during the game as the noise is terrific. One thing that has changed for me is that the nervousness that used to be a feature of the ER crowd is far less evident.

I didn’t over think it, loved the words. I could have said them. We all could have. :greengrin

Thought the banner would have made more sense ending with us instead of me.

One other nit pick is get those Marseille scarfs away. Blue isn’t a colour that should be getting waved about in a Hibs end. It’s also weird af

just watched SDG's sky interview (which was really good) after match - fantastic to see Block 7 youngsters (or looked like it) in the background helping clear debris from the Rail seating area :hibees

I thought it took us the whole of the first half to recover from the equaliser.
Second half brought us to life again and electric at the end :flag:

It was a great move top install them in the FF lower. Since way back to the cave days, that's been the traditional Hibs end, and they have -especially at big games and particularly derbies - completely reactivated it.

one day maybe...

Thought they were great and always look forward to seeing the Tifo / banner for the derbies.

The songs were good and looked like a great atmosphere in FF lower.

The safe standing change was completely validated today - fans going crazy and singing etc. It will only grow over time and add to the atmosphere at our amazing stadium.

East stand was great today too - especially 2nd half.

It's the opening lines of one of their regular songs Cheers, I knew it had to be something like that as it didn't make a lot of sense to me. Particularly with the mix of plural and singular and the fact it was a pretty universal and could have been said by fans of all clubs.

Find it quite funny that they move all the nutters out the east and into famous five , but the east stand still full of passion and plenty more nutters. We just seem to have that type of fanbase , full of passion and emotion. Today was most hyped up ive seen our fans in a while

I don't want this to come across as negative as I'll get to the positive but I need to explain the context first. I sit in the front row of the FF Upper and I've found the banners the past two home derbies mildly annoying in that you can't see the players come out and it is held up until pretty much K/O so by the time they get it down and removed, etc. it is distracting from the match. I kind of accept there's going to be these things, though.

Last time, the young guys doing it didn't handle any comments asking them to lower it slightly very well and there was a fair bit of aggro (not from me BTW). When I realised it was some of the same kids yesterday, I thought "oh here we go again". Yesterday, though, they had an older guy - not sure if he's the legendary "Fagin" character (maybe early 50s, a tattoo on his neck, peaky blinders hat?) who was very polite explaining stuff and smoothing things over. I thought he made a big difference.

I still wish they'd lower it sooner but I'm getting grumpy in my old age :greengrin

Out of interest, what is the song to Rockin' All Over The World that they were singing yesterday?

Well done Block Seven.

P.s don't be turning that banner around until we get the league won.

Probably the best display since the Hibs go marching on one a few years back.
Hopefully they can get a bit more creative with their song-writing, there's a few players in that squad who deserve a decent chant!

Excellent from Block 7 in terms of presentation and adding to an already feverent atmosphere.

Sitting them behind the goals has been a qualified success so far and they have adapted well to any criticism.

Think it’s only fitting in our 150th year that we have some banners at Parkhead on Sunday to wind up that lot.

It's now the 16th season since the 'East Stand Singing Section' campaign led to the top of sections 42 to 44 being designated as a standing area. Hibs12thMan were created to organise displays such as 'Green Day'.

The first Ultra group was Sect43 and amongst their ranks was an older lad who was a great organiser and a number of really bright young fellas whose leadership was instrumental in organising Tifos, Corteos and the use of Social Media. I met one of those admirable 'young leaders' at Tannadice last week and he's now mid-30s with kids and flying high in the Corporate world.

Many of the young dudes who left for the top of the North Stand all those years ago are now back at the top of Section 43/42/44. I call them the crazy gang and the banter is tip top. More songs are being sung each game.

It's absolutely brilliant having TWO vibrant standing singing sections in the stadium and in time the two will merge their chanting as happened on Sunday.

It's a great time to be a member of the Hibernian family.

GGTTH!
