Not quite sunk in yet but that’s beyond my wildest dreams. I’d have taken five points from that as a result but three wins is ridiculous.

I genuinely think SDG may end up a club great as a manager as well as a player. He’s well that and then some.

Let's be honest, 4 would have been a decent return.

9 is mind blowing.

I don’t know if we’ll have many (any?) better weeks.

A home win vs the best team in the country, a derby win and an away win against a team who are amongst our biggest rivals for league position.

Different class.

I thought this at the final whistle. Would've been delighted with 6, happy with 5, ok with 4.

9 is an absolute madness.

It’s unthinkable really.

9 out of 9 is phenomenal.

I expected the run to come to a crashing end to be honest. So proud to be wrong.

I said I'd settle for 9 points, so mi'll take that. Maybe the 12 I wanted would have been asking for too much.

This run has been mental , when you break it down some absolutely outstanding results in there . Especially considering we were bottom of the league just before it

4 points i probably would have been happy to accept from those 3 to be honest. 9 is simply outstanding!

On 27th November we’d just lost 4-1 away to Dundee and were bottom of the table on eight points with one win.

I honestly thought SDG was toast after that shambolic performance. It forced him to drop Bursik though and we've never looked back.

If you listen to the players that was actually when the run started. Newell led a team talk that got heated, then the 3-3 Aberdeen game with Rockys heroics, a destruction of Motherwell 3-0 and the 0-3 defeat to Celtic when we had 9 shots on target and easily could have won, weirdly. The 15 games unbeaten followed that but the Dundee debacle was the catalyst.

Much as Newell is maligned by some, he’s respected in the dressing room and shows leadership.

Imagine a Celtic Scottish Cup away win with 7000 Hibs fans watching too..

I don't believe there is a Hibs fan alive who thought we could get these 9 points.

Brilliant team spirit.

This team is hard. Not always flattering to watch, but they've mastered the art of getting the job done on a consistent basis. It's exactly what we were calling out for when things weren't going well. They don't lose games because they simply refuse to.

Fabulous Hibs. With 7,000 tickets now secured for next weekends game let's sell out the allocation. :flag:

Most seasons we'd be happy with 3 draws from that run of fixtures.

This has been an extraordinary week.

Even in on the form we were on I never for I minute thought it possible and prior to the run of games would have been happy with 4 and delighted with 5 or 6.

The table is so tight that those 3 wins have ended up being essential.

I wanted 4 and thought it would be a good run

Lose to Celtic
Beat United
Draw with hearts

To get 9 points out of those 3 is unbelievable

Must be up there with the best 3 results back to back in some time for us?

9 points out of Celtic, Utd away and a derby would be near unthinkable.

Perhaps the best 8 days of league football in decades a seriously impressive achievement

After last weekend when the other results didn't really favour us, this weekend has been pretty good. Even Motherwell beating Rangers turned out well as it snuffed out Hearts' wee spell in the top six.

It's smelling salts stuff. If we win next week, I can almost see us going unbeaten the rest of the season.

Posted it on another thread but if we managed to achieve the points per game from after we lost 4-1 away to Dundee to now, we’d have 81 points for the season.

Not a million miles away from a title challenge - we’ve only dropped six points on Celtic in that spell.

It’s astonishing form.
