He knew it just needed that extra bounce and he was bursting the net, celebrating before it went in, superb strike.

Great touch to set it up and then a geometrically perfect screamer that even Gordon couldn't save.
I lost it big style in the pub here in Zurich. I'd like to apologise to absolutely nobody.

Definitely a contender. We’re in a rare position that quite a few players could win it. Rocky, Iredale, Nicky Cadden, Triantis. Take your pick.

Any of those four are definitely contenders. All comes down to the run in, i actually cant separate the 4, for different reasons.

He's honestly so ****ing good. Genuinely a brilliant player and I really hope we're looking to extend his contract.
No coincidence our upturn in form has coincided with him, Rocky and N.Cadden coming in and us switching formation. He'll never hit a sweeter winner in his life, if that's the only goal he ever scores for us he'll forever remember it!

I’ve panned our recruitment department for a while and when he came in, Iredale on paper was the dictionary definition of underwhelming.
What a find he’s been though. Great work from whoever identified him.

I was screaming at him to hit it, he's got a brilliant left foot, best passer in the team as far as I'm concerned so it wasn't a huge surprise to see it landing in the far corner. Incredible signing.

I’ve always thought he’s one of the best defenders in the league but I was wrong. He’s THE best defender in the league! He’s our best player, he’s the sole reason for our turnaround and now he’s a goal scoring derby winner.
Player of the year, 10 year contract extension and just build the statue now to save a lot of hassle later.

Who’d ‘a’ thought that was on its way ..
How did hearts defence let him even get in that position, to shoot, to score … didn’t they prepare for that ? Terrible defence and terrible manager and defensive coaches. Sheesh.

Sheesh. The haha hearts defence could do nothing about it as none of them were close to Iredale, it was a second ball out and shankenheid was the closest hearts player to Iredale but the time he attempted to wobble towards Iredale the exocet had left his foot and had nestled comfortably into the back o the net

Great goal! Such individual quality after great team play in the build up.
The Sportscene Team were talking about the control we had of the ball, the use of the wide areas and the calmness on the ball were the reasons we won the 2nd half and the game. Levitt and Triantis were dictating play in the lead up to the ball being played out wide first Chris Cadden than back to Nicky Cadden, whose control of a high Triantis pass was excellent.
Iredale's control and calmness in shooting was vey similar to Scott Allan's finish in another memorable derby victory.

Just realised, from a clip Hibs posted, that it was him that hit the pass for Boyle’s goal. Goal and pass of the season, in one game.
