The positivity continues to grow at Easter Road.

What a great end to a very difficult game away against Dundee United on Wednesday. It used to be typical Hibs falling flat on our faces after an impressive win against Celtic. But not this time. The two late goals will only help to build the confidence of the players and fans. We are now undefeated in our last 12 games in the Premiership. Even better that we've done that without some of our injured players, who have now all returned, with the exception of Joe Newell. And, how good is Kieron Bowie!

Next up is the Hearts. It will be a very difficult game with them on an equally impressive run of wins, with only a defeat by The Rangers since we beat them on Boxing Day. What a day that was!

Lots to feel positive about. Let's keep the positivity flowing as the Hibees run out in front of a packed Easter Road. I hope the positive results will continue.

Lets keep the roll going as long as we don't lose - hoping for a decent win but at least a draw as that would put us 3rd, which would be mental after the stuttering start to the season

As always, delighted to see this thread.

Think we’ll see a VAR decision go against us this week, they won’t want to be seen giving us anything

We'll score at least two. Just need rocky to deal with Elton and someone to deal with 5 head.

Both teams on a great run, possibly favourites for 3rd/4th slots now, though there will be twists. The great thing is that win, lose or draw, this side will go in with the right mentality and won't tamely capitulate, or be pushed out of it, which was often the way of Hibs sides of old. If Hearts are to take anything from this game, it will take a really top notch performance from them - and that's a source of positivity in itself.

We should have won the last Derby at Easter Road and at 1-0 we had a chance to finish the game off.

We should be confident going into this especially after the last Tynie win.

Hearts fans always think over confident Hibs fans suits them but we have a team who have shown up when it matters against Celtic, Aberdeen home and away, Hearts away etc.

Whatever happens we will still be above Hearts come the end of the game.

This is a fantastic chance to increase the gap in points and push on for 3rd.

It’s been a remarkable run and fully believe David Grays men aren’t going to stop in the final 10 league games of the season.

The Hibs crowd need to be 12th man tomorrow.

A win today would be massive.

Into them Hibs.

We’ve beaten Hearts (A), Aberdeen (H + A), Celtic (H) and Dundee Utd (A) on our run, with a draw against Rangers (H).

They’ve only beaten Dundee Utd (A) in that time and got a draw against Aberdeen (A). Lost to everyone else (still have Celtic (A) to play).

Table suggests we are a lot closer than we are IMO - we’ve been in far more impressive form knocking top 6 teams about. They have not. We should be winning today and, at worst, drawing.

Exactly. Confidence is everything. Players take confidence from the stands. We should be confident. Be noisy from the start, continue the fantastic run today and ruin their Sunday 🙂💚

A great chance today to pull away from them a bit more with 4 games till the split.

Done well vs them this season in which it really could have been 2 wins out of 2.

Mon the Hibees.

A great opportunity to put ourselves in a very strong position with a 7 point lead. Won’t be much in it however we will create a number of chances as we can get at their defence imo. Get ahead and don’t think their team have the strong resilience we do imo

Watch any of their highlights - they are still absolutely shocking at defending crosses, which is one of our current strong points. N.Cadden will be rifling them in all day long and they’ll hate it.

David Gray asked the team before the dundee utd game, “Can you catch the team in front of you?” … and they did.

Same again today please, looking up … we have proven we are better than Aberdeen recently too. And … beating that mob to do it is an extra incentive … we have the better team today, including our players on the bench which Gray has been utilising better as it’s improved, so now … let’s just get the f stuck in to them Hibs! They’re not as good as they think they are. You know, I hope they believe the resurrected hype for them the BBC recently have been digging out of their bins …

To our players … get the f stuck in and show them what you can do, as it doesn’t matter what they can do … they need to cope with us! Come on the Hibees!

SDG has never lost a derby as captain or manager.

4 wins and 5 draws.
