View Full Version : Youan is back!

We have a huge decision to make for Sunday with Youan suddenly being declared fit and available for selection. Fact of the matter is so many games can be pointed to him being a match winner and the difference. However, do we change a winning team and who drops out? Or do we unleash him from the bench 2nd half against a tiring Hearts back line?
It'll be very interesting to see what Gray decides to do with this one...
Either way I'm delighted he's back for the run in because he was a big part of our early revival in the beginning of this 14 game streak!

I don’t think there’s too much of a decision to be made with the length of time he’s been out. Good option from the bench. Bowie and Boyle start for me though.

Bloody knew he’d be back fit and available the second the transfer window closed. Oh wait …

A month isn't a second, but aye, right enough, very predictable :aok:
He has a vital role to play in our coming fixtures and will be on the bench on Sunday.

I don't think he starts yet still. Bowie and Boyle make up the front two and probably allows us a more sensible replacement for Boyle now.

Bench. Can come off the bench, score the winner and do the ‘sleepy’.

Ideal sub to bring on when Bowie runs out of steam after his hat-trick.

Campbell, Bowie and Boyle start.
Hoilett, Gayle and Youan off the bench.

He’ll be on the bench if indeed fit. The decision will be who between Myko, Gayle, Hoilett drop out of the match day squad. Pretty sure it will be Myko albeit harsh given he started and scored midweek.

I'd be surprised if he started, I can see him being on the bench, is it only Joe Newell that's unavailable now? Will be interesting to see who misses out on the match day squad in the coming weeks.

Does that go for Newell as well.
Looking forward to him going toe to toe with the Jambos back line. 🫣

Newell was on the bench at the weekend wasn't he? Didn't go straight into the starting 11.

Not sure I would have him on the bench yet. Forwards have all been scoring and assisting and just as importantly pressing. Youan needs to be patient imo

Great news for Hibs - bad news for corner flags.

Yeah but it would put the ****ters up the Jambos if he were there, eh, so worth it for that? :greengrin

Not really a decision to be made IMO. He's on the bench

Won’t be starting i wouldn’t think decent option from the bench though it is fair to say we have other very good options also.

Surely everyone is delighted he’s back and fighting for his place in the team.
Definitely should be on bench for derby with Boyle and Bowie starting up front.
Attacking options from bench are really good now.
I like Hoilett a lot and think him, Gayle, Youan and Myko are really excellent attacking options to call on from the bench.

Our bench on Sunday is going to be so strong. Am I correct in thinking only Newell remains out? With Newell hopefully being close to return, I honesty can’t remember the last time we had a 100% injury free squad mid season.

Bench.
Will be happy not to see him on Sunday, cos it will mean we are doing well.

Love him but we'd be crazy to start with him, given match fitness and the way the rest of the team are performing. What a fabulous sub to have though

Do any of them have to drop out? Howw many are on the bench - 9?
Bursic
Ekpiteta
Obita
Manneh
Gayle
Hoilett
Myko
Youan
C Cadden
Not sure who that leaves as missing out? Levitt, Newell & Mllotnikov?
Either way be a very strong bench

We have 23 fit first team players now and only 20 can be in the matchday squad.
Molotnikov will miss out again and probably Levitt plus 1 other.
Newell is the only first team player injured or suspended.

Youan is a matchwinner who can do things nobody else in our squad can do. He has to be on the bench.

You don't change a side that's just beaten Celtic and DUFC, but Youan is great option from the bench. Can see him wanting to prove his worth late in the game if we need to change it up.

Youan is a matchwinner who can do things nobody else in our squad can do. He has to be on the bench. So are Gayle, Hoillett and Bowie/Myko. Yes he has been out with injury but those that he would push off the bench have earned their spot in the matchday squad. If one of those four is injured or out of form then he will be right back into the squad but who would you drop to let him return

9 on the bench?
Bursik, Obita, Ekpiteta, Levitt, Manneh, Gayle, Hoilett, Myko, Youan.
Maybe Cadden for Obita. Kwon misses out.
Without Newell too. We are going to have good players not even making squads if we can keep everyone fit.

Cadden could start so at very least on the bench along with Obita.
Final spot between Kwon, Manneh and Levitt for me.
