What a turnaround since the last away day in Dundee! If you mentioned to a Hibee departing Dens Park that three months later we'll have beaten Champions Celtic to continue a run of 13 games undefeated, 11 of which in the league, you'd be declared mad. Not even the most positive of Hibs fans would have believed the change in results.

Let's bask in the stats:

Hibernian are undefeated in their last 11 games in the Premiership, their last longer unbeaten streak was from 31 January 2018 to 5 May 2018, a run of 12 games.
Hibernian are undefeated in their last 13 games including the two cup games.
Hibernian have avoided defeat in their last seven matches when scoring first in the Premiership, since a 1-4 loss to Dundee on 23 November 2024.
Hibernian have scored 10 goals in the last 15 minutes of the first half, only Celtic (16) have scored more in the Premiership this season.
Hibernian are unbeaten in their last 22 Premiership matches when leading at half-time (W16, D6) dating back to 18 March 2023 against Celtic (L1-3).

I took a risk starting one of these threads against a team that were beating Bayern Munich away from home until the 94th, but it is a reflection of how much more confident we all are at the moment.

Now we face a Dundee United team that have benefited from the poor run of results we had at the start of the season. Had the games finished in the 89th minute, we'd have accrued 6 points in our games against them rather than the solitary one. We're due a win against them that will see us replace them in 4th spot if we do.

Lots to feel positive about. However, an away game at Dundee United on a Wednesday night will not be easy. Let's keep the positivity flowing as the Hibees run out in front of a fantastic away support. I hope the positive results will continue.

How many points have we made up on Dundee United since we started our run?

How many points have we made up on Dundee United since we started our run?

On the 23rd November, after we had been beat 4-1 away to Dundee and United had drawn 1-1 at Ibrox, we were 12 points behind them. After 13 games, we had 8 points and they had 20 points.

Both Utd games this season we have lost late goals and had a player sent off which changed the game.

Keep 11 on the pitch and show them we are the better team.

Won’t be easy but we can definitely go and get the 3 points - we should be confident but not taking them lightly as they have done well this season but Utd only 2 wins in 8.

Thanks for that. Thought it may have been a larger gap.

Still think we can do it tonight.

I'd be disappointed but wouldn't be surprised if this is where our fantastic run ends.

I thought a lot of the team looked out on their feet near the end of Saturday's game and we haven't had great results against Utd this season.

Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
