How the hell did he qualify as a ref ? Quite possibly the worst display by one I've ever seen, his decision making was abysmal for both sides

Typical Scottish referee
He actually stopped reffing the game and let the crowds emotions dictate what way decisions were going
How manneh gets a booking for his first challenge is the game is all to familiar with our game.
Another moron who wants the attention

Clubs really need to come together and deal with the major issue in our game, none of these rushed through juniour refs are good ebough.

The worst referee I’ve ever seen in Scotland. That’s saying something! How did he get beyond Sunday League?

Both teams should lodge a complaint against that useless, incompetent idiot.
On a scale of 1-10 he was a -10000

The clubs have had decades to address the Glasgow/Lanarkshire mafia and are yet to take it up.

Absolutely horrendous. As was that linesman nearest the away end.

Manneh's first yellow was a yellow, whether it's his first tackle or not. But the ref had an absolute disasterclass the whole game for both teams. How O'Hara escaped a booking for so long is beyond me and Bowie obviously is pumping the ref's missus.
One of the worst ref performances I've ever seen, made a poor game truly dreadful.

Definitely the worst refereeing I’ve ever seen , the rest of them are honking as well … biggest problem in the Scottish game by far that something really needs done about but more than likely won’t.

The biggest reason that the quality is mince up here. They were allowed to spoil the game from the first to the last whistle,

I wasn't talking about today's ref, I was meaning in general terms almost all referees come from the same two associations.

Scary thing is, he's one of the better refs. Because despite how awful he is, he doesn't come across as biased, just honking. We'd have got nothing from that game today if Clancy was involved in some way.

Neil Doncaster must have been wondering what the **** the ref was up to today

Unfortunately once the whistle goes the ball doesn’t actually go out for the corner.

It can’t. Only bonus is it’ll be the Celtic game he misses.

It can't be rescinded because it was 2 yellows.

Deary me - quite farcical
Some pretty bad reffing at the piggery yesterday, too.

Nah, not having that, he'd been on the pitch 20 secs, a free kick and a wee talking too was all that was needed but this was another awful west coast ref wanting to be centre of attention once again, the penalty decision was the most embarrassing one I've ever seen from any Scottish ref.

So where's the time limit after which the ref can give a yellow for a challenge that merits one?

So where's the time limit after which the ref can give a yellow for a challenge that merits one? There's not in the laws of the game but we do tend to see things happen "unofficially"
It's why you rarely see a booking in the OF game early for example
I've no real issues with Mannehs first yellow card but I also think if that was Callum McGregor or Nico Raskin that just walked on the park it would be a talking to first

We seem to have a weekly contest of worst ref of the year, he yesterday is the clear winner for me.
Incompetant from minute 1.
Surely the asseser who watched him get so much wrong, will be up all night writing his report?
How did he get through the process that refs need to do, to get to the heady heights of the SPFL?

I liked it when the refs took the huff and went on strike and we got the Latvian refs in.
What a breath of fresh air they were.
Can we get the Latvians again?

The first yellow was soft and would never be a yellow for a Rangers, Celtic or hearts players.. the second one was even softer.. it’s shoulder to shoulder jumping for a header. Our new signing will be petrified of competing in future games.

Where he can watch from the stand as Celtic players commit similar challenges unpunished….
So where's the time limit after which the ref can give a yellow for a challenge that merits one?
There isn't one but sometimes a wee bit common sense could be used, there was no malice in the challenge as he'd just came on and wasn't up to speed with the game but the ref yesterday should zero common sense and was in fact extremely poor.
