As we walked away from the St Mirren game at the start of the season I did worry how we'd perform this season. Not many would have predicted we could be two points from 3rd place at this point of the season, if we win tomorrow. For that to be achieved after the shocking start we have had is beyond many of our expectations, especially those that watched the 4-1 defeat at Dens.

Whilst our recent record against St Mirren is poor, their recent three wins is as many as they achieved in the previous 19 beforehand (drawing 5 and losing 11). We tend to be the dominant team in this fixture.

We are obviously on a good run, win only one defeat (against Champions Celtic) in our last fourteen games. With Bowie getting more game time, along with hopefully some of the injured players getting closer to match fitness, we are hopefully getting stronger as a team. Also, recent signing Alasana Manneh is in contention for a Hibernian debut.

Let's keep the positivity flowing as the Hibees run out in front of a terrific away support. I'm confident tomorrow will be another positive result for the Hibees.
