Lewis scored that belter of a goal against The Rangers at Ibrox.
My mate and I had been given tickets for the game which turned out to be in The Rangers end!
It was so hard to sit on my hands but fortunately the new clubs supporters were revolting that day and did walking away so it wasn't too bad.

Loved playing Rangers at Ibrox around that period. Always felt you went there thinking we actually would do something instead of just could.

Was in the huns end that day as well. We picked a bit that was nearly empty in their main stand. Didn’t celebrate when we scored but could discuss things in a normal manner without having to use hushed tones. There were a few other faces that I recognised nearby as well

Thought it was an early April fool with the Lewis scored a goal opening, but he bagged a few to be fair!

Me and my mate after a good few pints of Guiness, somehow missed the Hibs entry to the stadium and walked right through their Sandy Jardine Stand to almost the end before realising we had walked past the Hibs bit. Both with the Hibs scarfs on. Not a word was said, probably helped we were both 6 foot plus.
great win and Hibs were a very generous 7/2 to win at the start if the week.

Never even had a doubt we would win that game. We had a bit of a swagger coming back around that time. Scott Allan had finally found his feet after a stop start beginning to the season. The pass from Allan into Cummings for the first was unreal. If I remember right it was a pretty streetwise performance from us rather than swashbuckling football.
I still cannot believe we didn't beat that Hun team in the play offs. They were absolute garbage. The worst rangers team in history for either version. We battered them in the second leg but the goal came too late. I'm sure we ended up with 4 strikers on in Djedje, Cummings, El Alagui and Cummings

The biggest shock in these highlights is probably Oxley actually making a couple of decent saves!

Can't believe that has been 10 years, where has the time gone. Far and away my favourite time following Hibs that.
Also, I have it in my mind that was one of Fyvie's first games for us? Was he a Jan signing?
