7 years on, superb footballer and I’d love to have him in our midfield.
Rest easy :flag:

We were certainly signing a bit of quality back then. Very good player.

Fantastic player
Couldn’t believe checking his Wikipedia he’s actually made the most club appearances with hibs.
Taken far too young.
Rest in peace

Brilliant talented player such a shame to happen to someone so young with a young family.

Was a consistent experienced performer for us in midfield and played the most games at any one club at Hibernian playing 76 scoring 7 never let us down
A lot of clubs claim him as their own but I like to think he felt settled here
Another Hibee taken too soon
RIP
Loved a goal against the Hearts

When we signed Stokes and Miller, I thought we were finally ready to kick on and splash the cash!!.
No more debts to clear, no more infrastructure projects or whatever.....
Didn't quite work out like that, but in the main, it was good times back then.

We played some really good stuff in the first half of that 2009-10 season and he was an integral part of that. He always just looked like he had that added bit of class about him and that's a rare thing in scottish football. Then there was the 3-0 win at ibrox, which he bossed.
I spent some time in Australia in 2013 and saw Liam play for Perth Glory down there too.
Still hard to believe he was gone at 36/37 years of age

Real quality midfielder, who played with his head up. Kevin McBride did the spadework and Liam Miller did the football.
RIP.

Looking back over the last 25 years, I can immediately think of 4 Hibs midfielders who you could safely describe as 'class'. Liam was easily one of them along with McGinn, Sauzee and Latapy.

We signed Miller and Stokes the summer before work began on the East Stand and we had debts of ~£3.5m.

He’d be a great addition to any team but could certainly do with some of his creativity in the current squad.

One of my favourite Hibs midfielders, he was absolutely class - especially in his first 6 months or so.
Such a shame.
