I think there’s a few that are guaranteed to start like Smith , Triantis etc . What is our strongest team if everyone is fit ?

Smith
Cadden Iredale Rocky Ekpiteta Cadden
Newall Triantis
Campbell
Bowie Boyle

Although Ohara and Youan should arguably be in there too. Gayle obviously has his place, although I wonder if that should be as an impact sub (he's done well from the start too though).

O’Hora has been part of a defence that has conceded 6 goals in the last 11 games against non old firm sides. I wouldn’t be in any rush to change the defence.

Fully agree! A back three of O'Hora, Rocky and Iredale, with the Cadden twins as wingbacks is our best formation at the back. No reason to change.

O’Hora Rocky Iredale

Bowie Youan

Would more than likely be Boyle over Youan but Ellie is the better player (when he’s on form) up front imo. He’s wasted out wide as doesn’t do enough defensively.

O'Hora - Rocky - Iredale

Cadden - Triantis - Newell - Cadden

Manneh

Boyle - Bowie

With Youan, Gayle, Campbell, Ekpitetata and Obita giving us good depth.

Assuming Manneh has most of the energy Campbell has but is much better on teh ball then that would be my team. I don't think we need to change the back 5, Newell is considerably better than Levitt and Bowie much better than Myko. Youan would coe in for Bowie before Myko and Gayle for Boyle. Campbell may be a better option than Manneh against The Uglies

Depends on our opponents and which players are in form.

I’d go with this too , with plenty of good options from the bench .

Always said there's no such thing as a best team. Our best team to play Kilmarnock isn't likely to be the best team to play Celtic.

Any updates on Newall and Youan returning? We could really do with them

Why move a left footer to the right side of the defence?

O'Hora has been part of a solid backline.

I didn't think there was much in it and I wanted to make some changes to the current team to make it feel like there was as much "improvement" to come as possible.

this looks like mine, although Manneh might fit somewhere else in the midfield 5

Amazed how many people have picked Manneh. We haven’t seen him kick a ball yet.

People probably picking him on the basis that we paid money for him to come to us in January rather than wait until the summer to get him. Understand nobody knows how he's going to fit into this Hibs team.

Of course it does yes. I'd have Miller before C Cadden in games where we don't have the ball and are going to need to defend. Campbell in for occasions if it is going to be a battle like Tynecastle. Ekpiteta was our best defender at the point he got injured.

The form we are in I certainly wouldn't be changing the shape or the back 3. Boyle is in form at the minute.

Always odd why people put new signings into the strongest 11s without seeing then play but understand it is the optimism that we can be better again.

Also odd we would expect 2 to 3 million for Youan and know that nobody else in the squad comes close to that valuation at the minute however our biggest asset isn't quoted in most of our strongest teams. Again I understand it, he wouldn't be in mine at the minute either, it's just an observation

The current side picks itself, 11 unbeaten.
The only changes would potentially be Bowie leading the line and Newell in for Levitt. Other than that your not changing a winning side, Ekpiteta or Manneh based on current team performances do not merit playing over O'Hora or Campbell.

Also interesting seeing him being put in Campbells position, I understand he is the player that should probably drop out but everything I have read about Manneh so far is he is a deep lying midfielder that can get about pitch, which is how I would describe Triantis, and despite the naysayers Newell covers a whole load of ground too but maybe no need to be as deep as he has been. So in reality it may be a slight change but for games where we are expected to have lots of the ball that could work well with a very fluid middle 3 with all 3 capable of covering back and going forward. That would give us hopefully a new threat going forward. It would possibly be a slight change in tactics for the wing backs, and would probably need changed for some of the tougher games. But one thing I like about Gray is he open that he will always use subs, so even on our best performances most times I think we will see changes, so having a strong bench and a tactically fluid team could see us really strengthen.

My optimistic glasses are filling up.

Pretty normal for people to assume that a guy we've just paid money for in January would improve our starting 11.

Let's hope that is the case.

Especially in what is arguably our weakest position in terms of starting 11.
