Let’s sell it out as always.
Hospitality already sold out.
Few tickets remain for behind the goals sports bar.
Ticket exchange will be open if we sell out.

If only Hibs fans would come in the same numbers to support the team in home games against the other 10 clubs.
We have averaged almost 1400 less supporters at our home games this season than Aberdeen and almost 2000 less than Hearts. Over 19 home games that hands another financial advantage to our rivals.
The team are playing as well as they have for years so those ex supporters who have lapsed for reasons of apathy need to get back on board if they afford to.

It’s a fair point - especially after the recent run - Easter Road has become so much more enjoyable.
At the same time football is expensive and if you don’t have a ST (which is still not the cheapest!) it adds up plus away games etc.

Thing about attending away games is you are only financially benefitting the club you are visiting which I think is great because it really helps the smaller clubs. FWIW, to be fair I suspect most folk that go to away games are at the home games as well so it's not really a factor in Hibs finances.
Last thing I want is Hibs putting ticket prices up at Easter Road to pick up the shortfall with Hearts and Aberdeen.
What I want is more Hibs fans to become Hibs supporters and share the financial load with the rest of us.

Shows how bad it would have been in the 80's. 5000 was a good attendance.

Whilst I understand the point you're originally making I really have to query if "the team are playing as well as they have for years"??
I suppose it depends on how many years you mean..
Whilst I'm delighted with the run of results we're currently enjoying - saying it's the best football we've seen in years is frankly mental.
It's been bang average football all season, the BIG difference is we're now winning games - not that we've suddenly turned into an entertaining team.
Given that I've had my season ticket for the last 33 years I'm probably not the target of your sales pitch, but c'mon keep it real.

There was only one season that bad.
Average crowds at Easter Road where circa 8,500 in the 80's.
if you were too young to be there, ER stadium was a **** tip so women weren't rushing along there.
Crowds in recent years are our best since the 1950's but we need to find another 1500 regulars to keep up with our competitors. Women, new Edinburgh residents and students are probably our best bets for this crowd growth.

I was there in the 80's, pre teen years. The smell of those East Terracing troughs still haunt me.

We only really hit form start of Decembe ish and the Xmas crowds always have other factors to consider.
Aberdeen was the first one we should gauge and tbh it was a tad low in the home side.

:greengrin i'm definitely not saying we are playing entertaining or sexy football at the moment.
We are playing what I would call winning football after stemming a tide of sendings off and defensive mistakes.
Take the Aberdeen game on Saturday. There was nothing much between the teams but Hibs won 2-0 without any great drama.
First goal they didn't mark Campbell at the corner whereas Hibs defended the Aberdeen set pieces well.
When we lost the ball we quickly fell into a back 5 and shut them down by defending well.
We also get the ball forward pretty quick on the counter now instead of the passing it slowly round the horseshoe like we did tediously and ineffectually under Maloney and Montgomery.
An efficient performance like Saturday with the elements above will win almost every game in our league outside those against Rantic and for our next league game we will have two weeks fitter Bowie and Kuharevych as well as Youan and fit again Newell. Also adding a new experienced player in Manneh with Ekpiteta returning at the end of the month.
Hopefully these players can add a bit more pizzazz and entertainment to the team performance whilst maintaining Saturday's efficient edge.

Makes a change from sticking the boot into the players - time for the fans to take a kicking.

I wonder if anyone will own up to going for a number two there. 😳 Saying that I know one guy that had no option, and decided to bomb on high from a standing position on the rim. Apparently the risk of misdirection was much better than the alternative sitting position.

Can't believe how easy it was to get a couple of tickets. Thought they'd be long gone by 17:10.

Shifted quite a few yesterday.
Mostly few singles and end sections available.
Would expect a sell out sooner rather than later.

100% agree with green castle on this matter ,whether it’s TINYcastle or at home guaranteed we sell out not only that we start a thread for “fans “who can’t get a ticket and desperately want one ,next week we’re at home to Dundee for instance it’s pick you’re seat time sorry but as greencastle says where are these “fans “ the rest of the season ,we could certainly do with all that extra revenue and finally if it’s a case of people saying which understand by the way that it’s not cheap to go to football and can’t afford ,fair enough but the Derby tickets are category A ,the most expensive !!! Sorry about if I upset some fellow hibbys ,not the intention ,but I just don’t get it

I don’t get that people don’t get that a derby is more appealing to folk than other fixtures. Of course it’s going to attract more. Folk either can’t or don’t want to go every week so when they do go, they’re obviously going to pick the biggest fixture. And I write that as someone who does go every week.
