Since we lost 0-3 at Celtc Park on Dec 7th, we've played ten games, W-7, D-3, L0. Nine of those games against Premier League teams.
Add to that the games immediately before the Celtc match... the 3-3 draw against Aberdeen and the 3-0 win a Fir Park... and it's been quite a turnaround
If somebody had predicted that run in mid November we would have been looking out the straight jackets.
Thank you Hibs.

What a difference when Hibs win games / do well.
Ok we aren’t flying in 3rd just yet but it’s been a remarkable improvement and this team has become really likeable.

7 wins 3 draws, including the cup win over clydebank. Or 21 points out of a possible 27 in the league since the Celtic game.
When was the last time we went unbeaten in 10?

In November I was wondering how much more of it I could take before finding something else to do on a Saturday. It'd been a bad 3 or 4 years and I genuinely thought I was about to run out of patience. And here I am less than three months later, proud of them and looking forward to every game. Goes to show, I know absolutely nothing about fitba!

Can't remember how many games but sure in the 17/18 season under Lenny we were unbeaten for about 4 months. Played some wonderful football as well.

You’re right! According to wiki it was 12 games unbeaten between Jan 31 and May 5 2018. Bookended by a Celtic defeat of course.

Delighted for David Gray and his staff who must have been under a lot of pressure at one point.. really is a remarkable turnaround :applause:

Incredible turnaround when you consider the start we had. We look like a well drilled team now with some genuine quality too. I had honestly written us off in December.

Funny as we play Ayr and St Mirren, then Celtic...
Do could be the same again (hopefully not)!

One loss in 13 (away to Celtic) is tremendous. Huge credit to SDG and his staff and huge credit to the players. If ever there was a season that we stuck by the club motto, it’s this season. When we finish third, the DVD should be called The Persevere Season. :agree:

Another obvious but not glorified stat
Hibs are now joint third with united for the fewest losses as it stands in the current league season , 8
Following that, we are the highest team for draws in the current season on 9
Imo given the horrendous start that we had. Making you hard to beat and whilst a draw at county and st Johnstone were dropped points. A point here and there and for momentum and confidence it’s a complete miracle job what SDG has done to a squad which had zero confidence and punch about it.

In my opinion finding, accidentally or otherwise, a settled and reliable central defence has been the key. That has helped the goalkeeper situation as well. There are still question marks about the creativity from midfield but it’s been a fantastic turn around.

Did Heckingbottom not go on a run? Jack Ross was also steady. But our positive streaks are frustratingly few and far between even in most of the purple patches we had in iur Hibstory…

Nah, we'll pump the lot of them... then lose to Dundee United.

After that game up at Dens Park I thought we were in big trouble. The turnaround has been tremendous. Long may it continue

Only ever interested in the next game, we can only win one game at a time for however long it goes on.

I honestly thought we were heading for relegation before this turnaround. Happy to be eating humble pie and seeing the players clearly playing for the manager and each other. I was looking at Aberdeen with a bit of envy in them getting their appointment right and us not, now look at it, they are in freefall and we're about to overtake them in the league. It's a funny old game!

Big difference from earlier in the season. Rather than putting emphasis on ball possession and wasting time with it, we've gone to being effective in possession when we do have it, even if it's less possession than the opposition. We're doing to teams what they were doing to us earlier in the season.
