What a signing this guy has been. Quick, composed, strong in the air, strong in the tackle, decent passer and looks like a great character as well.

Him, Nicky Cadden and Jordan Smith have all been tremendous characters to bring in to the team. It's a really likeable team we have just now.

It just shows don’t judge a signing before you sign him. I remember going through X and positing about 15 links to fans saying he’s good to try and put up an argument in his defence as he got slaughtered straight away

That's our whole team just now. Concentrates on doing the job. It's really in line with what SDG days in that interview - we've worked on the mistakes we were making earlier in the season and the result is that we've got a solid foundation. We are hard to beat because we get the basics right. I trust every single player to be alert and wanting to do the basics of their job properly.

Not spectacular but does the simple things well and could play in several positions if required . Doesn`t seem to get as many silly yellow cards as some of his teammates either . When / if we hit a bad run of results and say we miss out on top 6 or better I suppose he `ll be one of the first names mentioned as responsible ( not good enough if we want top 3 etc ) but reality is we `re unlikely to sign much better ( wish we still had Paul McGinn for example ) .

Jack had a great moment in the 1st half when the speedy Keskinen tried to run him and Iredale not only matched him but ushered the ball out. Steady Eddie.

P.S. The much maligned Malcy did a great job with the permanent recruits in the summer, all 8 of who look good to very good solid signings at a total transfer fee outlay of 600k (Iredale, B Cadden, Bowie, O'Hora, Ekpiteta, Smith, Gayle and Hoilett).

His run at the 2nd goal to overlap Cadden created the initial space for Nicky to switch play to the right. Great to see from a CB. Gives opposition more to think about.
