Willie Collum sitting on the fench about our penalty against the huns . Probably trying to not to upset them again 😆…

Think his comments are pretty fair to be honest.

The initial offside call at the derby is interesting. In the stands we all assumed the AR had given offside because he was certain but he is fair in what he says. Rocky was in an offside position so they were right to disallow and wait for an on field review to get the right call.

Ive watched a fair few of these and find them very interesting as it shows what goes on during the game. Willie Collum is very open and honest about where they got things wrong and it shows that Var can only do so much and the rest is down to the referees and their interpretation of the laws of the game.

Interesting hearing the audio from our game Vs the Huns and Beaton in no doubt about the Penalty award.

Is that on field audio edited? Doesn't seem in real time - I've come away fairly impressed by how officious and to the point they were, but Tynecastle in particular seemed to take an age at the point.

It's also job done as a PR stunt for refs, as I've come away with complete faith about John Beaton and Willie Collum's integrity. Eek.

I'd still ask Willie Collum if he thinks VAR would overturn Rangers second goal at Eater Road in 2015 mind you, and see if he can squirm his way out of that one.

I think the comments were pretty fair about our 2. Agree that Hearts shouldn't have had a penalty at Ross County and they've changed my mind about the Butland o.g. chopped off v Motherwell. Hadn't looked at it particularly closely before but had thought it should have stood. Actually now think Tony Watt's arm is on his, impeding his jump.

Too much a grey area in his thoughts about it for me .

I think it’s a load of nonsense saying why it is but then saying why he’d understand if it wasn’t given .

It’s either a penalty or it’s not and for me the evidence is pretty conclusive that it is a penalty.

Don’t forget this is a guy when refereeing was pretty certain on what was a penalty in his eyes over the years like these….
