A Liverpool-style thumping for The Rangers is always a joy to watch. However, it's always good when a Scottish team beats a team from allegedly the best league in the World. Can't image many will want a draw.

Away from the football, let's hope the citizen's of Manchester are not too disrupted by the visiting fans from Scotland, as they were in 2008.

Once upon a time in the 90s Rangers were drawn against then English champs Leeds Utd in the Champs League.I was working in the belly of the English beast in London at the time and, the coverage in the English media was truly nauseating. Patronising does not come close to covering it as, we were told, the English champs need only turn up to be assured of a handsome victory over the abysmally incompetent Scots.
I had to endure this all week and I must admit that when Rangers eventually turned Leeds over (2-0 I think in Leeds) I was not only pleased but celebrated their second going in with some enthusiasm.
OK - it may have been a "get it right up ye ya smarmy English bassas" kind of celebration but I sincerely meant it at the time.
I've now been back in Edinburgh for about 20 years and the effect has largely worn off - part of me still wants ANY Scottish team to best the English though.
