My favourite kit manufacturer. Saint Etienne 1980/81 Home is the greatest shirt of all time. Sad news.

They'll be straight back as The Le Coq Sportif then.

Was that the Super Tele one?

I had a splendid lemon yellow t-shirt with large logo in grey in the mid 80’s.

I'm still wearing one of their Whyte & Mackay sweat shirts. (Small boy: "What colour is Mackay?")

First image that comes to mind is Le God strutting his stuff wearing their logo on our Hibs top in the late 90s.

Always thought their Hibs kits were pretty decent along with the training/leisurewear. I guess I was at an age then where i was looking for such items!

They manufactured the iconic shirt worn by Maradona in Mexico ‘86, with his “Hand of God” match worn shirt selling for £7M, so Le Coq Sportif can claim to have made the worlds most valuable sports kit.

Hopefully someone snaps it up. Ideally not Sports Direct/House Of Fraser/Flannels! A year ago I would have said New Guards Group as it would fit in with their other acquisition Reebok but have a feeling that is going down the pan too.
