The only time I've ever seen it full is during Six Nations games, or Autumn Test games around Christmas...

Used it at various times of day/days through the week and never seen it more than half full. Even for rugby/football/gigs.

The most recent Autumn Tests (I think it was the Springboks game) they had a sign on the motorway saying it was full and not to use it - you'll regularly see cars parked along the grass verge (even on the other side of the roundabout) during some of the bigger rugby games too, especially if it coincides with something else taking place (us/them being at home with similar KO times plus Christmas markets/shopping etc).

We've actually taken to parking along at the Bankhead Industrial estate these days and getting on at Edinburgh Park or Bankhead - much easier for getting onto the motorway afterwards too!
